Let me say, the only thing good to come out of this rivalry was possibly the best season of Ultimate Fighter. Otherwise it was just Ortiz kicking the piss out of Shamrock.

In all reality it really brought UFC back also. If not for that rivavlry, I am sure that they would be in a much different financial state that they are in now.
