I was just wondering, and its been over 10 years so i prolly knew then but i just forgot, but my ? is what happened with The British Bulldog and Anvil after Survivor Series that year. Was Bulldog's contract up also and just decided to leave also? Why did Owen end up staying? I also remember an angle they did like maybe a week or 2 after the screwjob with anvil joining DX and then HHH and HBK beating him up and then never scene again... What happened to Anvil after that?

Vince flat out refused to let Owen out of his contract and Bulldog had to pay to get out of his although I am sure he would have most probably got the money back from WCW Anvil also showed up in the WCW

Neidhart was being paid per appearance and was never actually under an official contract at the time, so he wanted to leave and no one stopped him.
Bulldog also wanted to leave, but had to pay somewhere in the range of about $125,000 in order to get out of his contract, which he ended up doing.
As for Owen, hbkjason hit the nail right on the head, as Vince absolutely would NOT let Owen out of his contract. If you remember, Owen actually received a push after the MSJ and even got a shot at the WWF title versus Shawn Michaels at the time.
From what I've read over the years, apparently Michaels didn't trust Owen in the ring fearing that he might shoot on him due to what took place with his brother Bret. Hence, why the angle with Owen was cut off and he was stuck in the mid-card up until his death in May of 1999.

I loved that when Owen attacked HBK in street clothes, at the time i didnt expect it!
Any1 got the video of Anvil in DX? ive never seen that.

okay thanks.... now i get why owen was still around and what happened to bulldog and anvil, but if wouldve been great if they all left together after that night and all appeared in WCW
