Anyone see this documentary before? Anyone have info? (air date, who the people in it are, etc) Because it is one of the dumbest things I've seen. I have only watched part 1 and 2 (part 2 is the link, and the rest can be found posted by the same guy). They say that the booker hands out signs to the crowd as they come in?  |

That aired MANY years ago. And a lot of it is bull ****, such as the Pre-made signs.

That aired ages ago, I remember me and my friends all got excited to watch it. In some feds they have to do stuff like that with the posters. It's pretty much all true, maybe not in regards to the WWF or WCW at the time, but to other smaller feds. Harley Race played the booker on that show, I doubt he would have let them get it wrong.

I remember a show like this being aired on Sky One here in the UK about 10 years ago, it claimed that "the kid who gets his sign torn up by the heel is a plant and actually gets a slice of pizza and a ride home with the wrestler, there's always an old woman sat at ring side who gets pushed over by the heel but secretly she's wearing knee and elbow pads to protect her" and other absurd things like this.

Oh man, that was hilarious. Pure Wrestlecrap at it's best. The worst was the stunt granny planted in the crowd. In all of my 23+ years of watching wrestling, I have NEVER once seen a stunt granny that was planted in the crowd in any wrestling event that I've seen. What a bunch of crap that was.  |

In all of my 23+ years of watching wrestling, I have NEVER once seen a stunt granny that was planted in the crowd in any wrestling event that I've seen. What a bunch of crap that was. It happened in the territorial days like Memphis and Kansas City back in the 70s all the time. You guys should realize this was made in 1997 and a lot has changed in the past decade. Back then, every other person at a RAW taping didn't have a sign like today. WCW used to pass out signs in the early 90s all the time. If you couldn't tell, Harley Race is the promoter and some of the things he told the NBC producers weren't being done anymore like the announcer/referee/pencil thing. |

I remember it was back in 1998. Gary Wolfe played Brute Force, Anthony Durante played Colossus and the All-American Boy was played by Mike Modest.

Yeah this was quite silly. I did like to see how some of the moves were pulled off and things.
But yeah they was some stupid stuff, and i also doubt and real fans was shocked at this.
Its just like that black magician bastard who ruined tricks.... who was the "booker?"

Remember that. But I believe it was Channel 5 that showed it as it was on straight after WCW Worldwide. Yeah that was a pretty crappy doc. |

skullduggery for world champ. yeah it came on the wb like 5 months ago i watched it and its just crap they donut used made up signs wtf. Mick Foley came on RAW like the next week and was like we messed up pretty bad all but now I know how to wrestle(taking a shot at the documentary)

Why would the bookers give signs to the crowd? To give the illusion to the TV audience that a guy is really over, or a guy is getting alot of heat. Remember alot of this stuff pertains to smaller feds that don't have as strong as a fanbase as the WWE. All of the things in here have been done in some fed on one level or another.
