I haven't been big on UFC in a while now like I was and I was just wondering what the best recent pay per views are? Like which one's have the best fights so I can try and get myself re-motivated into watching again. I think my favorite over the past few months was UFC 79: Nemesis. I have "acquired" UFC 79 - 84 (didn't get 85 and don't intend to...) and really enjoyed each, but I think 79 has been my favorite so far. To be honest, the Fight Night headed by Florian vs Lauzon was pretty good too. Better than some ppv's, if you ask me. You should also look into WEC 34 (Yes, I will continue to push WEC down everyones throat). 2 GREAT fights, both of which I'm sure will recieve FOTY votes. DREAM also puts on great cards with lesser known fighters to casual MMA fans, but people you'd really enjoy seeing. (guys like JZ, Sakuraba, Cro Cop, Mahoef, Aoki, Overeem, Mousasi, Mayhem, etc, etc, etc) They really put on top notch cards with some of the best fighters in the world.

Thanks man. I'll look into getting the shows you suggested and will look for WEC. WEC is well worth a look if interested in seeing the lighter guys who IMO have generally much more exciting fights. As said about WEC 34 was quality with two really strong fights on.

Thanks a lot Churchy, I picked up 79-81 from Wal-Mart today and I am going to look at Hastings for 82-84. No luck on finding any WEC though, do they have dvd's out?

No, they don't have dvd's out, but they are on the Vs. channel all the time. My favorite recent ones were 76, 79, 81, 84. All of those shows had great fights on them. UFC 83 and 84 aren't out on dvd yet though, but should be soon.

I know its not a complete show, but I'd recommend the Best of 2007 DVD.
