2 years ago this week I got to see my first ROH show live. It was quite the experience because I was getting burned out with "mainstream" wrestling & this was an eye opener.
For about the last year & a half I've been a indy wrestling photographer for a couple of smaller promotions. I've been trying to break into the Chicago scene for a while, but its been much more difficult than I thought, until now. Thanks to Bruno from Top Rope Photography he hooked me up with the opportunity to shoot for Ring of Honor tomorrow night. I never thought 2 years ago I'd be in this position, but I'm ready for it.

I haven't had as much of a life changing experience. May 5th marked my 2 years, but let me tell you that every ROH show I've been to since my first has made me appreciate wrestling just a tad bit more.
I've been to only one indy show outside of ROH, and that too was fun. But I'm just adding my two cents. The past two years for me and wrestling have been irreplaceable.

Ive always wondered about getting into photography jobs like that how do you do it? You gotta know someone that runs or works for the company you want to shoot for. Like for me, I got to know Quack through a local, tiny promotion that he works for from time to time. After the event, he came out and was signing autographs and we started shooting the crapabout pro wrestling. A friend of mine was shooting for the tiny promotion and I asked him if he needed photographers and he said he did and voila!
