Yeah, it's pretty much done once all of the series 9 re-releases are shown in MOC form.
Sad to see it go like that, but it's better than nothing at all, I suppose.
There won't be any new BNB figures unless Jakks or Mattel decides to continue with the 3 3/4 inch style with their respective lines in 2010.

I can't see Jakks bothering. I love the 18th scale figures, but are they very successful in general? Indiana Jones died a death, the entire Wolverine line warms shelves here, and the GI Joe movie figures are all on sale now whenever I see them.
I actually want a couple of the new Harry Potter figures - I've no idea who any of the characters are, but some of the accessories would be great for BnB.

Toysrus.com has series 8 in stock, for those interested.
I thought about placing an order like I always do, but I might just wait to buy them in stores since I don't feel like spending the money right now.

The first batch of photos from MMAFigs.com suggests otherwise: www.mmafigs.com/index.php/mma_ufc_figure_newsline/3154-JAKKS-UFC-TOYFAIR-FALL-2009-COVERAGE-Part.htmlThe Octagon and mat within will be the buildable pieces and the line is called "Bring It On." I like it, but I'm not much of UFC fan so I doubt I will collect this line, except maybe for Lesnar.

Excellent news! I'm not sure I'll get them (little to no interest in MMA), but this might mean there's a possibility of TNA ones in the future. I'm happy to look like an idiot about this - I hadn't seen these before now.
I guess the way the final WWE lineups are looking, the laziness with BnB is indicative of Jakks' attitude towards their WWE line rather than their attitude towards the 18th scale figures.

I don't think anyone has report this but my toysrus (Cincinnati) got a new BnB exclusive series. Nothing great it had only 4 figures, Triple H, Cena, Mysterio, and Big Show. Mysterio was the exact same as the blue series 8, Cena was exactly the same from series 7, Triple H look the same as his TRU first 25th wrestlemania series, and Big Show was the same. They had a build a ring; Cena had 1 mat piece and the poles, Triple H had 1 mat piece and the ropes, Big Show had only 1 mat piece, and Mysterio had 2 mat pieces. It could off been just that one but weird (5 mat pieces.) Also they had the 25th wrestlemania logo in the bottom right corner of the bubble. Hope this helps out. Also the back of the series only listed 4 figures.

If JAKKS was only going to make one belt, why did they choose the Smoking Skull belt? Very strange.
