Just thought I'd let all the Build n Brawl fans know that I've notice the UFC build n brawl figures at 2 Family Dollar stores recently. They're $5 each which is a little cheaper than what Toys R Us has them for. The only difference I've seen is they don't come with the piece of the Octagon. These work well for anyone making Build n Brawl customs, gives you a few more choices for which head to use on your customs.

I thought that some of you might be interested in a new Build N Brawl custom using WWE Rumblers. I have been stuck trying to figure out how to construct a head for a custom Alberto Del Rio, and noticed that the Rumblers heads will work with this line. Let me know what you guys think. any chance you could repost this pic...its not showing up now

I've got some pics of the custom build n brawls that I've done posted on another wfigs thread. Was wondering if anyone checking out this thread would like to see them. I can link you to the other thread or I can post them in this one too...if thats not against any forum rules, not sure.

Thought I would add these to my current custom thread instead of starting a new one. I've really gotten into customizing Build n Brawls over the past couple of years. Unfortunately since they only made this figures for a short time, sometimes you have to make due on what parts you have available to make customs of them. This picture is full of works in progress. I've still got to do some painting to each of these. Vader looks kinda wild in the face, he's my first attempt at painting full skin tone on one of these, and having to paint the face back on. And while I was showing you guys pics, I thought I would post pics of my custom Title Belts. Here's my most recent custom I've been working on. I've never seen anyone do a custom Jakks Punk from this era so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's not without its flaws, some visible brush strokes and apparently I suck at painting stars lol. But I'm happy with it. Punk with his pipebomb with the WWE Title (used a Mattel version of the title cause its much better than the Jakks version of the belt) thought I'd add one with the dull version of the Mattel title, cause I'm not sure which I like better. The shiny gold looks a bit nicer, but the dull version lets you see more of the details. ignore the Roddy Piper picture on the side of the package. Gonna cover up his picture and name, and put this one on my wall next to the rest of my Classics let me know what you guys think

Awesome customs! Some very impressive work, especially with the limited options that come with working on the BnB line. I really like your title belts too, they are very hard to come by for this size too. I have a ton of parts if you ever need anything let me know and we can always work out a trade, I know they are getting harder to come by.
I also really llike the work you did on the British Bulldog, but what head did you use for him?

Thanks, I love customizing these guys, but you're right it sucks sometimes because of the limited parts choices. That would be awesome, I've probably got some parts that I could spare as well. I used a Finlay head for the Bulldog. It was all I had at the time, but I think it turned out really well. I used the Finlay body on Owen, but I'm thinking about maybe redoing him with the other Tanktop style torso and using this body for either Neidhart or Rhyno.

I agree, even if I'm not a great painter yet i find the 3.75" line to be my favorites to work on. I have actually used some heads from the GI Joe, Star Wars and Marvel Universe lines to get some of the figures I wanted. That was pretty clever using the Finley Head for Bulldog, I didn't even notice! I used a Finley head to make an old school Sting and it come out pretty good too. I had a buddy of mine make a custom order for me and he used the Finley body for Neidhart and it come out very nice. I should have some pics up on here soon!

Can't wait to see the pics. What head did you use for Neidhart? I was thinking Kennedy, but would have to add the goatee.

That Bret looks cool. I like the attire color better than the pink they used on the actual figure. Also cool to see the boots fully painted, I had to add the details to mine. I remember seeing this proto from toyfair or wherever it was shown. Would love to have the Razor and Shawn prototypes that were shown with it.

I'm working on a fixup of my custom Hogan. I've never been happy with the JBL head, but it was all I had at the time. But I'm working on one right now that I think will look much better, more details and pics to come after he's finished. They look great in that old mini ring! I really need to get my stuff out of storage... They do look great with the mini ring. They look really good in the Hasbro ring as well, but I thought the mini ring would work better for my pictures.

I thought I might have more luck if I posted this on here as I might get more help from some of the people who enjoy working with this line as much as I do. Getting ready to start a new set of customs but I am short a few pieces and was hoping I could get some help.
I am specifically looking for a Finlay, a Zack Ryder (or at least his legs), a Kofi (or his green trunks) and a full HHH for a few new customs.
If anyone can help me out or point me in the right direction it will be appreciated!

Don't remember him, lol. Do you have pics? I love the line. Never see them much in person. I did almost grab a William Regal that I saw at a comic convention last year. I really should have, because that same vendor has been to shows since and didn't have it anymore.

I've got every character in the line, but didn't bother collecting repaints. Mine are all lose though. Its cool that you've got almost all of them MOC.
