Pretty cool stuff.
But if anything like that was done now a days...oh I could just imagine the bashing and the hate. Then again, I'm sure there was plenty of that back then as well. But just think of the reaction today.... we'd never hear the end of it.

If they did something like that now, a majority on the forums would be pissed complaining about how so and so broke kayfaybe, and how childish it was. Still entertaining though.

What I'd give to see today's wrestlers singing like that. Santino can take Iron Sheik's spot! On;y thing that would be the same are Vince and the huge fight that would breakout.

Land of 1,000 Dances was actually on the very first WWF Wrestling Album in 1985, cleverly titled "The Wrestling Album." The others were from "Piledriver."
I can still remember getting The Wrestling Album on Christmas morning as a kid... I must have driven my parents nuts listening to that thing non stop for 6-8 months. It also had "Grab Them Cakes" by Junkyard Dog, and a cleverly-disguised "FU" to the world by Rowdy Roddy Piper called "For Everybody."
Years later, when I grew up, I figured out what that song was really trying to say, and it got a million times cooler.

I love with you only knew that jimmy hart and koko were the only ones really singing... Because they could.
And it would be weird if it was done now, as wrestling as a whole was just really corny back then... Not just wrestling, but everything... It was easier to do weird things... Man, I miss the 80s.
