There's currently a banner hanging from the arena with the CW Title on it, with an ECW logo on the belt I think. Does that mean it's coming back?
& yes I know it was pointed out in the thread but I figured this was a worthy topic..

Yes they'll give away tiny clues like this every week and on every show the cruiserweight title will be hidden somewhere and then during a promo a graphic will come up and say "did you break the code? save_us cruiserweight_championship." And then they will bring it out and say "congratulations to everyone who spotted the hidden cruiserweight title belt at Night of Champions you discovered the secret message that the cruiserweight title is returning" and then they will present it to Hornswoggle who never actually lost it but he will beat Ric Flair later that night to prove he deserves it.

no they put the ECW tag on hte top of it meaning it supposed to be the ecw title but someone sucked at making the banner

It was originally suppose to be a picture of Paul Heyman's ass, but they got it mixed up with a picture of the CW title since they're both so damn shiny.

I though when they were doing the draft that a lot of the smaller guys should have went to ECW...
But with ECW moving to Raw, and guys like Noble and London on Raw, and with Matt Sydal on ECW, they very easily could. and those guys would have some great matches together...
Whether they will or not, I doubt. but they should... It's be nice to have a secondary title on ECW, and that would be the perfect one, making ECW far more interesting to watch.

 Why would the WWE go through the trouble to alter the banner? The title's been deactivated long enough, why would they ever post a banner featuring it's likeness? You can clearly see the "ECW" logo on the main plate and the side plates. They have to have some reason to have hung that banner. |

Why is there so much insistance to bring a belt back that has been treated like garbage? What's the point anyway? I'd rather the belt stay deactivated on the grounds it won't get used.

That's pretty sad that they didn't even make a new banner for the ECW world title. But bringing the cruiserweight belt to ECW would be pretty cool.

The Cruiserweight title was really pointless. Why would they bring it back? If they did it should be on ECW because most of the cruiserweights are on there.
