The just couldnt be bothered to make a new banner, so they edited the one from last year That's exactly what it is, they were just too cheap to make a whole new banner for one their "major" titles, so they took the CW banner slapped an ECW sticker on it, I can't believe they actually showed a close up of it like no one would notice.  |

These days it feels like everything is rushed from a storyline perspective. And now that Smackdown got all that RAW talent, it looks like they will have even less time to generate interest in a Cruiserweight division. Honestly, today's WWE fan's attention span is far worse than it's been in 15 years. They have taken the quality out of the wrestling 80 percent of the time for entertainment purposes. Great Cruiserweight action seems like it really doesn't have a place or fit in with the current WWE direction.

ECW TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP YES!!!! probly wont happen but you can only dream. Hopefully they are smart and make it the TV title of just simply the ECW Cruiserweight Championship Actully after looking at the Video from to posts above me you can clear see on the belt that they slaped an ECW logo on the banner and under ecw it say WORLD. So just another Cheap out by the WWE. cuz they Zoom in on it for the ECW title match. Damnit i really got my hopes up |

Ok so im not seeing things, my friend said that it was just the ECW championship when I knew it wasnt, they look nothing alike.

Cruiserweights/High-flyers was a great part of WCW, fast and exciting action, it's beyond me why WWE would abandon it.

yea, ive heard that the WWE is going to put the final nail in the coffin that is the old ECW and put out a new designed ECW championship Belt
i spotted that last night and put 2 & 2 together....mark my words
the new ECW belt will be the Cruiserweight belt Re-Designed
now let me clear the vomit from my throat
