What does everyone think of Samoa Joe's worked shoot gimmick? Personally, I think that it's pretty entertaining for people of our community (the IWC) but to the average fan it may not work so well. It also seems kind of fake. I mean, I know it's a work, obviously, but they could make it a lot more believable. Thoughts?

Its different, itll be interesting to see if TNA gives him an oppurtunity as champ at somepoint as heel but I think the fans would probaly pop for him winning the belt even as a heel.

I see it as another slap in the face of the IWC, tbh... Joe's shoot was all about how the real talent in TNA was being ignored in favor of the big acquisitions. Now it's all about how HE is being ignored and how HE isn't getting paid enough. Sure, he mentions how TNA's time could be used for wrestling instead of rediculous party segments, but with the TNA booking showing little improvement, isn't that like TNA saying to the IWC "Hey we know our wrestling quality sucks, but we don't care."
This is TNA deflating the impact (no pun) of Joe's shoot by making him out to be some whiny, selfish party pooper on p.m.s.

I wouldn't call it a heel turn as he is still over as ever.
As for the angle itself, I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm not holding my breath on it getting crappy.

It's certainly different, but I think it is for the better. One thing that has always held Joe back in TNA was his charisma. I'm sorry, but it has never been there. His "intense" promos have never done anything for him. Guys like Cage, Angle, and Styles are light years ahead of him on the microphone. But now he has a new character when he's not in the ring, and that could help him rise to the top..........only for TNA to push him back down again six months later.

I can see a lot of people actually taking to Joe and relating to him in some degree. I don't think it'll lead anywhere for some reason.
