Kind of sucky actually. I figured I'd be going over to the parents house this evening to blow stuff up, but it's 8 pm local time and I have not been invited. So, I'm kind of depressed. I did run some errands. Went to the post office, cleaned up the house and poked around at the new Barnes and Noble in town. Still sucks when your family doesn't invite you to stuff. I can't really invite myself and I can't shoot off anything here at my house as I have huge trees that overhang everything.

Didn't do anything special. Just watched the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest which I basically do every 4th of July. I was rooting for Kobayashi. Anyone good enough to trade Kendrick for must be pretty good I figure. |

5:15pm: Went to Walmart
5:40pm: I entered the checkout line, 2nd in line.
6:59pm: I exit the checkout lane, after some 90 year old woman almost died behind the register.
9:40pm: Watched the Mets choke. DAMN!

I just got home from a party, a few hours ago. I was there until noon. Basically, I spent most of the time there watching the Sox/Yanks game. Not too exciting, but whatever.

Woke up, took a shower, went to the carnival that's in town, came home..did nothing for a couple hours, had a steak dinner....and that's pretty much it.

Weird Fourth for me. First time I can remember that not only did I not shoot off any firecrackers, but I didn't see any either. I can hear them going off all around me, but I don't see anyone on my street lighting them.

Got a pool. Ate mexican food for luch. Atesome ribs and dogs, drank a few beers. And blew **** up. All in all it was a good day.
