I didn't like the fact that WWF turned into WWE, but I have to credit them on their creative commercial ads.

I remember this one, and the one where the lady is trimming some garden with the WWF logo and she slips and cuts off the F. I thought they were really clever.

I liked the Car Sex one...if only because it resurrected the Sexual Chocolate theme music.

They were pretty good. I remember being so pissed off though that they had to change their name like that. Well actually, I still am pretty pissed off about it. Whenever possible I call it the WWF.

I liked the one when the person with a WWF head went into the Barber's and the Barber cut off the F.

I thought the ads were very clever and some funny but i hated the name change and i still do today. Like nWoWolfpack said i also call it WWF when ever i can.
I also remmber my friend wore his get the "F" out shirt to school and they sent him home to change his shirt

I also remmber my friend wore his get the "F" out shirt to school and they sent him home to change his shirt I still have that shirt stored away somewhere. The name change bothered me too at the time, but I've gotten used to it now. Whenever I'm talking about classic wrestling, though, I always say WWF and I'm sure that is how most people remember it. These ads were really good, but it was an end of an era when the name change became official. I still remember logging on to WWF.com only to see it had been changed to WWE.com shortly thereafter.

I remember when it happened, the announcers couldn't get it right.
