Ah. Dammit im having a hard time deciding between this and Affliction. Do you have Tivo or DVR. If you do, you can watch one live and record the other. If not, I'm sure Spike will air re runs of Fight Night for a few days after.

Watch and record the UFC event live and just order and record the replay of the Affliction: Banned PPV later on that night. Should be an awesome night of fights!! Can't friggin' wait!!

I didn't like the ending in the Johnson fight a guy should lose by tko when he keeps getting poked in the eye.

OWNED MOTHER ER! Anderson Silva is un- ing-believable. I love this man! Now I get to change the statement I've been making for a while... "Any middleweight breathing today should be in constant fear of Anderson Silva" can now rightfully be changed to "Any fighter breathing today should be in constant fear of Anderson Silva". Seriously, who can stop this man?! That was domination and decimation to an Nth degree. Silva played it cool, saw the opportunity, and GAWD did he capitalize. All is right in the world and Anderson Silva is one step closer to cementing his legacy.

I would like to see Anderson against a tough 205'er like Liddell or Griffin.

I would like to see that too.
What amazed me was that almost everyone thought Irvin at least had some chance.
Hell, I thought he had some chance. I thought this thing would've gone until half of round one, and I was expecting this to last 2 rounds at the absolute maximum.
But 1:01 is just decimation. Silva is a f'ing monster. Normally it's tough to justify all the hype of moving up/down a weight division, but Anderson did beautifully and that alone (the complete transition, not missing a beat, and winning his first fight in a new division by dominating decisively) helps cement his legacy IMO.
I don't think Silva is done with the LHW division. Knowing Dana and knowing Silva's own desire to fight, there's way too many money matches in LHW to have it be a one-time thing.
Whenever he does fight again at LHW, I assume it'll be some top-tier competition after tonight's blitzkrieg smackdown.

Yep i agree, Irvin looked slow as hell. It's a scary thought, but i actually think Silva could beat Forrest right now.

I was actually going for Irvin for the upset, but boy oh boy, was I wrong or what?? I'm just glad I didn't make any bets for money with my buddies like I usually do or else I would've lost, big time.
Anderson Silva proved once again tonight why he is clearly the single greatest fighter in the world. Do NOT bet against this man because you will wind up on the losing end. And that's pretty much a guarantee.
Overall, a great UFC card. Can't wait until next month for UFC #87. Should be awesome!!

Forrest and the 205's better get that pool started real quick and try to persuade him to stay in 185.

I watched the event just now. Basically skimmed through key points of the fights. I cant believe they gave Kevin Burns the fight after he poked Anthony Johnson in the eye FOUR ING TIMES. I honestly think he wasdoing it intentionally. The guy's jab looked too deliberately aimed for his eyeball. Sad that Hermes Franka lost Congrats to Frankie though. Anderson Silvas a Machine. The guy will hold the 185 belt for a looooong time. And he may even snag the 205 belt. I'd like to see himsquare off with Wanderlei. With that said, all in all, I'd say the Affliction PPV was far more superior. UFC's event was great but the Affliction ppv was Phoenomenal.

I'm not gonna lie...I was REALLY bored with the UFC tonight. Vera just looked awful. He gassed far too quick and should have dominated.
Though I'm glad we got to see that Rory Markham head kick. My god...
