Do you think if the name change never took place that the Additude Era would still be around? Or even if it ended do you think if it was still/or if they could go back to being the WWF we would have a much better product? I know some of you will probly say how would a name afect the overall product, but some of you may know that a name is very vitail to a brand/product. I think now that we are the WWE there alot more soap opraish story lines example being edge and vickys wedding (not say there wasnt soap opraish story lins in the F) but we can honistly say we had alot more talented wrestling durring the World WRESTLING Federation. so anyone eles think this?

WWF is by far a better name, but the name change of the company did not affect the product.

I agree with the idea of WWF being a better product than WWE. The company just had more uhh... attitude. Even before the attitude era.

No, I see your point, but I think the main reason it was so good was because there was competition and now there's not. I can't remember if they got the new name before or after they bought WCW, I didn't watch during that time for like two years.

WWF is by far a better name, but the name change of the company did not affect the product. Sure, it doesn't directly affect the product, but the product is coincidentally of a lesser quality. Kind of like the alternate opening of the Dick Van Dyke show where Rob avoids the ottoman.

Get the "F' out! Since I started watching in early 2004 I kinda like the WWE name more.

WWF, World Wrestling Federation kinda restricted it to mainly wresting but now that it is World Wrestling Entertainment theyre open to do a lot more stuff as they are seen as...well, entertainment. Think about it, when it was WWF there were hardly any biography DVD's or books, they had yet to venture into film and generally had nothing else to do with the edia besides being a wrestling company.

I liked wwf much better. Even now people will mention it and go oops I mean wwe. It had such a history it's kind of like changing the NFL to NFE. Well maybe not that, but you get the point.

It's a shame, all Vince had to do was grease those panda ers with a few mil, and he could've kept the name. Hell, the US is the only country where that organization is known as the WWF. Everywhere else, they're the WFN.
