I agree with Churchy on this one. Torres beats everyone that is put in front of him. What else do you want the guy to do? To me that means Pound for Pound he is one of the top fighters in the world.

Wow. Urijah Faber beat Tito Ortiz with 69% of the vote: www.sportsline.com/mmaboxing/story/10890943Either Faber is more popular than people realize, the CBS readership is more hardcore than people think, or people just hate Ortiz so much that they voted against him on principle.

As I've said it is not how he he has won, but who he has beaten that determines P4P, which is why in a lot of people's minds Fedor has slipped. Yes he has still been kicking ass, but it is against who that people are focused on, seeing his recent fights as steps down. Anyway I can't see me & Churchy ever agreeing so I suggest we move on & focus on the tournament instead.... Go Faber

Go Faber The thing about Fedor is people say that because he has had opportunity to fight better fighters but choose to go to other company's that had less talented fighters. Torres has fought the best in his weightclass. Making him the best fighter in his division which would put him then in the arguement of the pound for pound best fighters. People put Faber in the argument for P4P but he has only beaten one big name. But he deserves on there because he does everything he can in his weight class. So by your theory only heavyweights,LHW,MW can be the pound for pound best fighter? That kind of defeats the pupose of the title pound for pound doesn't it?

Torres loses rank due to his lack of opponents. Just like Fedor loses rank because of his lack of fights/opponent caliber. In a pound for pound system, you don't lose rank. That's why it's called...Pound For Pound. Fedor is without a doubt one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world, for his all around ability and accolades. Torres is in that same boat. It's hard to rank Torres because of his lack of opponents and depth of the Bantamweight division. But pound for pound, you can not argue that he's one of the best all around figthers in the world today. He has beat everyone that's ever been thrown in front of him (he avenged his only loss)

I call B.S. if Fedor doesn't win this.... Seriously... I wouldn't argue if Anderson wins. Especially right now, with his current run. I honestly don't think I'd complain too much of Georges won either, even though I don't think he's above either Silva or Fedor. I'm rooting for Danny Abadi to win. He's my write in vote.

Fedor has beaten EVERYONE put in front of him, usually extremely decisively. Everyone else on the list has lost -- some of them have lost to mediocre fighters.

I want BJ Penn to win it. BJ is my favorite fighter, and I think he's the most talented fighter in the world... But I still give it to Fedor.

I want BJ Penn to win it. Why? Just out of the ones that are most likely to win, I'd like for B.J to win. But I think it'll be between Fedor, GSP, or anderson Silva.
