Yet another exclusive story to InstantWrestling.com regarding Sting and his attitude backstage.
We have an exclusive backstage story on Sting and TNA here on InstantWrestling.com. Back in October when Sting won the TNA World Title he wanted to keep the belt so he could lose it to Samoa Joe at Turning Point and then retire, but TNA obviously didn't go with this plan. Dixie Carter was a major advocate of keeping Sting in TNA.
Sting is open to losing to younger wrestlers. He was upset when he found out that Christopher Daniels would be jobbing to him in under 10 minutes at Slammiversary and he wanted to put him over. He reportedly talks to a lot of young wrestlers backstage, more so than other top guys like Kurt Angle. TNA's creative department are the ones who have repeatedly wanted Sting to go over, he wants to pass the torch to the younger wrestlers, contrary to popular belief.
The Amazing Red, who used to work in the early days of TNA is training to make a full in ring return following a longterm knee injury. The X-Division standout has been working a full time job outside of the business until his knee healed and he is now burning off the ring rust.
At one time Red was seen as the next big thing in wrestling and worked regularly for TNA, Ring of Honor and All Japan Pro Wrestling (under a mask).

Hopefully Most of Its True because Amazing Red Is Awesome.
