After Lewis' big victory at Silverstone, McLaren will want to build on that and beat Ferrari again, Ferrari will want to make sure they do all they can to prevent that. I predict Ferrari will be very aggressive throughout the weekend to show that they still have more pace in their car which i believe is the case, McLaren will have to be on their guard. BMW-Sauber will want to improve dramatically, after their Maiden win in Canada they have looked half a second off their previous pace, with it being Heidfeld's home GP I'm sure they will look alot better than they have in recent outings. The rest of the pack minus Force India look very very tight, Red Bull, Renault, Toyota, Toro Rosso - in Vettel's hands at least, Williams and Honda are all capable of sticking at least one car in the top ten, but realistically only four will make it through. The Germans:Rosberg, Glock, Heidfeld & Vettel will be very quick and will all be in the top ten imo.
My Top Ten Grid prediction:1 Raikonnen 2 Hamilton 3 Kovalainen 4 Heidfeld 5 Massa 6 Kubica 7 Webber 8 Vettel 9 Rosberg 10 Glock.
Hockenheim is always a great place for some racing so should be an interesting race, early prediction for the winner: Hamilton, the guy is looking alot better behind the wheel after a rough patch.

my prediction:
1. Massa 2. Kovalainen 3. Raikkonen 4. Hamilton 5. Kubica 6. Heidfeld 7. Vettel 8. Rosberg
I don't think places 9 + 10 matter much.

My Dad was at Goodwood last week, had VIP into the Pit Lane and the F1 Garages. Should see some of the pictures he's got, unreal. Hamilton's car from last year was there too.
Might go and watch this race at the cinema if I finish footy in time.

Tomorrow's grid: 1. HAMILTON McLaren 2. MASSA Ferrari 3. KOVALAINEN McLaren 4. TRULLI Toyota 5. ALONSO Renault 6. RAIKKONEN Ferrari 7. KUBICA BMW 8. WEBBER Red Bull 9. VETTEL Toro Rosso 10. COULTHARD Red Bull 11. GLOCK Toyota 12. HEIDFELD BMW 13. ROSBERG Williams 14. BUTTON Honda 15. BOURDAIS Toro Rosso 16. NAKAJIMA Williams 17. PIQUET Renault 18. BARRICHELLO Honda 19. SUTIL Force India 20. FISICHELLA Force India Raikonnen's car looked wild. Hamilton is on fire. Massa is on his tail and Kovailainen is doing his usual. BMW look to be lacking one lap pace and they are sliding down the quali lineups every outing. Alonso looked bright today too. Webber, Coulthard, Trulli & Vettel all made top ten easily over the rest who have qualified outside the top ten. Piquet is not cut out for F1, wouldn't be surprised to see him gone by the next race.

Race Result: 1st Hamilton - Looked supreme, the combination of him and the McLaren is in a class of it's own. 2nd Piquet - Played the one stop strategy and it paid off big time thanks to the safety car. 3rd Massa - It's either the car or the drivers but the Ferrari didn't seem to be at the races at all. 4th Heidfeld - Safety car helped him up the finishing order, didn't seem particularly quick. 5th Kovailainen - Once again a very conservative drive from Heikki, he is the perfect team-mate to have. 6th Raikonnen - Again, didn't look at it all weekend, Ferrari need to do something quick or they will fall back further. 7th Kubica - Seemed solid, nothing spectacular, after a strong first half, BMW seem to be falling back like Ferrari. 8th Vettel - Got a point in the end, another day he could have been a little higher but the big boys held their places in the top 7, had a right old ding-dong with Alonso.
