One really amusing thing happened at my theater. This kid and his sister I guess wanted to see it with his parents. After they realized every showing was sold out, they started to yell at their mother and cry because "I wanna see Batman!". The mother suggested to see Hancock and the kid started yelling at the mother again saying "No one is going to see Hancock, we're going to see ing Batman!". I have no idea what happened after that, but it was just too funny for words. That's Jersey for ya...

My friend and I just agreed we definitely need to see it again, probably next weekend.
Plus, I totally forgot to use my movie money from the Batman Begins gift set. Not that the movie wasn't worth paying for.

why isnt gordons daughter barbra in this stuff? You didn't notice the little girl being held by Gordon's wife(also named Barbra) toward the end? They never said her name but one can only guess. My guess is they never brought it up because they don't want people to expect them to introduce Batgirl.

I just got back from seeing this. Brilliant. First movie in a long time that had so much hype and didn't dissapoint. Ledger took the Joker character and ran with it. Best portrayal of the Joker, end of story. Everyone else was top notch. The fight scenes with Bats were marvelous, he kicked so much of ass!! Harvey Dent was also portrayed perfectly. He just lost it as Two-Face. I really want to see this again.

What was everyones favorite scene? Mine was the end with Dent/Gordon. I'd say it's one of my favorite movie scenes ever.
