OMG, Why does the way his flesh burned matter? It's a movie... not all things in it a realistic.

The fact that Harvey Dent's jaw bone was showing, his left cheek was completely missing, showing his teeth, and he was able to deliver a monologue using perfect speech was the most unrealistic part of the movie. For the amount of time he was on fire (they put him out really fast) it should have just burnt his skin....no way bone should be showing. And how does the area around the eye get that badly burned but the eye is fine? He should have lost the eye if the burns to his face were bad enough to reveal the bone. There was a lady on Oprah who's bf set her face on fire and she was on fire for almost 2 minutes and he actual jaw bones are not showing....the flesh is horribly damaged, but nothing like Harvey Dent. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I see what you're saying but no matter how realistic Nolan was going with this franchise it still had to have some over-the-top quality; ya know. Actually, the most disturbing thing about Dent's disfigurement to me was the eye. It made him look horrifying and derranged.

I love Nolan's realistic take on the film, but to be honest, the burns didn't bother me in the least bit. Perhaps they might have had the movie been mediocre or just good, but lets face it, it was incredible. I can let such a small flaw slip by my radar.

I threw the outfit together in about 10 minutes. Thought I had a vest somewhere. I was kinda upset I didn't have the vest. The theater was packed when I got there. I got quite an ovation when I went in. I was surprised more people weren't Jackasses. My girlfriend was a great sport about it. I wish I would have had some better clothes for it. Halloween will be better. Couldn't find a Penguin costume?

I have some questions.
What happened to Joker? In the original movie Joker falls to is death, in TDK he never falls.
Why does Batman talk more like a villain than the villains do?
Why was Scarecrow in this movie for only like...10 minutes?
I would also like to say that Ledger played the role extremely well and I don't know if anyone else in the next movie can make seem right. The idea the had for the next movie was going to be Joker's trial in court.

The idea the had for the next movie was going to be Joker's trial in court. After Joker/Batman's altercation where Joker was hanging upside down, the SWAT team came in to Joker as Batman left. One can only presume he was taken to Arkham. Bruce talks like that as Batman to disguise his voice. It seems Scarecrow was only in to tie up the loose ends from him escaping at the end of Begins.

Scarecrow was in the movie so people don't say. "What happened to Scarecrow? He was never taken away." so, they made something happen to him.

Why was Scarecrow in this movie for only like...10 minutes? Scarecrow was in to offer closure and to show how far Batman has come since Begins. The idea they had for the next movie was going to be Joker's trial in court. ...No, it isn't. They're not even sure if there's going to be a third movie.

If they ever use the Joker again I think Johnny Depp would be their best option.

Just watched it for the second time and I really really hope if there is a 3rd one, they bring Two Face back to be the villain....I was in such awe the first time I saw it by Ledger's performance that I didn't really appreciate how good Aaron Eckhart was.....

I was in such awe the first time I saw it by Ledger's performance that I didn't really appreciate how good Aaron Eckhart was.....I feel that, that is the case for a lot of people. Everyone was so wrapped up in The Joker, especially since Heath passed, that it completely overshadowed Eckharts amazing performance.
