Ugh, people cheered after every Joker line.. midnight showings suck. This one guy in my theatre laughed EVERY time Joker was on screen. I mean seriously, he would be walking and the person would laugh. It was ridiculous. Oh and everyone clapped at the end of the movie...I actually said "Yeah Heath appreciates it..." People are just nuts...=P Why is it weird for people to applaud a great movie?

Yeah I'm not seeing the problem with clapping either. It is no different than sitting in your living room clapping for your favorite team.

Stunning film and the single greatest character performance ever by Heath Ledger. I can't believe that the film lived up to all the hype that preceded it.
- When Gordon faked his death, I was really pissed off because I thought that meant they had cut the interrogation scene from the final movie. Was relieved and surprised when he came back.
- I really hoped that Scarecrow would have a bigger role than the small cameo that he did. He could have given Joker his toxin or done something else to help him.
- Didn't think much of Maggie Gyllenhall as Rachel. She was quite annoying and I think she has pig face.
- Eckhart as Harvey Dent was fantastic. He played the noble guy so well and then to be broken down into the TwoFace character was really great to watch.
I think I am going to watch it again tomorrow. An amazing film.

Yeah I'm not seeing the problem with clapping either. It is no different than sitting in your living room clapping for your favorite team. It just makes no sense to clap after a good movie. I mean, I don't know, I just don't see the point. It'd be different if it were a broadway or something, but I mean I've just never clapped after a movie...to each his own, though.

I can understand people doing it, but I don't do it. I would feel a bit foolish, honestly.
I will clap for bands and if I'm ever seeing someone act live, but if the person isn't there to hear my applause, then I won't clap.

I mean I'm not going to say "HAHA LOOK AT THAT DICKHEAD CLAPPING" or anything along those lines. If you want to clap by all means you go and you clap.
I just think, in my mind, it's kinda silly to clap to a movie. =P

If you're gonna commit crimes in full out Joker costume, at least don't let yourself get restrained by theater staff
