He wanted to get caught. I wouldn't give him his phone call if I was the police.

'intimidating, Joker tone'
"I want my phone call...."
"Ok, fine, you get one."
'slowly dials number, looking at the 3 guards standing around him'
"Ummmm......m....mom?"

Some news, from IMDB:
-- Eckhart, who plays District Attorney Harvey Dent in the sequel, confesses he "absolutely" would star in a third Batman film.
-- Heath Ledger's co-stars in The Dark Knight have revealed that he already has three Oscar votes in the bag.
-- Heath Ledger's father has agreed to honour an investment promise his son made before his death. The Dark Knight actor signed up to fund the construction of an upmarket New York bar, but the future of the agreement was left uncertain after Ledger passed away.
How many votes does it take to get a nomination anyways?

Best scene for me has to be the end, where Harvey has Gordons kid, the music is just so great, so tense, hell, stuck it on my iPod, lol But yeah, great scene, first time I saw it, I has goosebumps However, the interrigation scene and the road scene are amazing too I love when they are both driving/walking towards eachother, screaming with rage, amazing Plus, is it just me, or does Christain Bale really not like dogs, lol In this film, he's battling dogs a few times, and in American Psycho he boots outa one, lol

I agree with you Ross Man. The music is so dramatic in the Gordon/Dent scene and Eckhart delivers his lines so powerfully. My favorite scene in the whole movie.
"Tell your boy it's gonna be alright Gordon."
"Lie."
"Like I lied."
Probably my favorite line in the whole movie.

I think my favorite part is when Joker says "Hit Me"
All the build up and everything was flawless.

The scene Joker filmed when he's torturing te Batman copycat is probably in the top 3 fav. scenes for me, I have the entire thing memorized word for word.
The way Joker's tone goes from if he's talking to a baby to screaming and furious, to a psycho, just gives you a complete understanding of what a monster he really is, and when the video ends you see the man being lowered after Joker hung him....

I think it is "Why So Serious" on the soundtrack. It's Jokers theme.

i think favourite 3 parts have got to be the robbery scene at the start. great music and a really well played out scene, the scene with the joker in the cell talking with that officer and then coming out holding a gun to the officer's head and asking for his phone call and oing it and the whole station blowing up was awesome, and of course the scene were the joker and his henchman are in the truck and harvey dent is in the cop van and then batman shows up was great. loved some of the action in that scene. personally i prefered the joker to harvery dent/two face but yh still great film.

Question about the scene with Joker and Gamble.
When the people bring in the "dead" Joker and he puts the blade in gambles mouth and tells the story about the scars....the camera pans to the reaction of the other guy and then we see Gambles body fall to the floor...
Did Joker cut Gambles mouth or his throat....because if somebody just sliced your mouth I don't think it would kill you or even incapacitate you....so I think he slit Gambles throat.
Any other theories?

Seen that scene countless times, and I still don't know how Gamble died either <_<
The only logical theory would be that he slit his throat. But it was in his mouth, so...
