"TNA did not draw well either in Atlanta for last year's Bound For Glory PPV in October despite booking Sting, Kurt Angle, The Steiner Brothers and others"
Atlanta drew 4,000 fans. I don't see how that is "not drawing well" when it out drew your 5th
AND 6th year anniversary show, Against All Odds 2008, and now Victory Road 2008. Also, I don't see why they should "close tomorrow" they just have to learn the hot markets for them and it's obvious that it's not Texas nor South Carolina which
es them up completly. Here's my problem with TNA:
Sell out one show (Dallas, TX - House Of Blues)
Gets a pay-per-view/Doesn't Get A Great Attendace (Houston, TX - Reliant Arena)
Gets FOUR House Shows after a pay-per-view (Corpus Christi, Laredo, Dallas, and there was another one)
Against All Odds:
Doesn't run a house show to test the market.
Runs a PPV in SC that doesn't do well (AAO '08 - Bi-Lo Center)
Goes back to them (7/26/08 - House Show in Florence)
While they're making good deals (PPV in NJ, MA, Canada where they drew) they're still
ing over locations that drew.
Georgia has yet to get another show (Don't give me that "Well, it didn't draw well" bull **** - Caronlina didn't draw and they're getting a house show... Texas is getting 4 shows within the span of a month...)
Detriot has yet to get another show since BFG '06 and they drew great..
St. Louis might've had a house show but I can't remember.
They're making many mistakes with their choices of locations.
[Yeah, sorry for the little rant]
