The Basics:
- This will be written in the form of a weekly wrestling newsletter, and will look at the entire wrestling world, although will feature reviews of WWE and TNA shows.
- This begins the week after CM Punk won the World Heavyweight Championship, so all rosters are up to date from there.
- This is booked by the AI of TEW 2008, so don’t complain about the booking!
- ECW closed down before the start of this, and their rosters moved onto RAW and SmackDown, so no ECW here.
Championship Roll Call:
World Wrestling Entertainment
RAW
WWE World Heavyweight Champion – CM Punk (1) WWE Intercontinental Champion – Kofi Kingston (1) WWE World Tag Team Champions – Ted DiBiase Jr. (1) & Cody Rhodes (2) WWE Women’s Champion – Mickie James (4)

So, what? You are auto-booking the shows and doing a PWI like review? If so, sounds great, really original.

Hasn't LAX won the titles two times? You're thinking of the NWA belts.

Great idea but may be too much work even if you cut off the under/mid card. Your gonna have to book for 4 shows. Hope this does well. Good Luck.

very very original idea,
it kind of bothers me that all you're really doing is simming through time and not actually booking things yourself.
nevertheless the idea is bad ass and i'll wait until i see how you're going to present the shows before passing judgment.

‘Rated R’ Weekly Wrestling Newsletter – The WWE Edition Week 1, July, 2008 WWE RAW Report
- Shane McMahon opened the show, and announced that from now on, there is an open season on WWE contracts, and that wrestlers can now negotiate with the other brand. Both general mangers will be at all shows apparently, so this could be an interesting change. Still no news on Vince McMahon though.
- D’ Lo Brown made his big return to RAW… only to job to Jim Duggan. This is not the best way to open an edition of RAW, and unless D’Lo get’s a big push soon, then I for one wont be happy.
- Chris Harris made his not so long awaited debut, teaming with Rory McAllister in a losing effort to Val Venis & Tommy Dreamer. The only good thing about this match was that long time jobbers Venis & Dreamer got an actually win! Harris did not impress, and I don’t really care if he sticks around.
- There was a really uninteresting segment with WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James and Jillian Hall. Sadly I think this is leading to a match between the two soon.
- Ashley went over Mickie James in a non title match following interference by Jillian. As said, a Mickie James/ Jillian Hall match is going to happen, and I for one am not looking forward to it.
- Mr. Kennedy became the first man to jump brands under the ‘open contract’ season. Kennedy promised to make an impact back on RAW. Since SmackDown already has massive star power, this is good for both brands, and actually gives Kennedy a chance to win a title.
- Another pointless match as Paul London went over Shad Gaspard. Shad dominated, only for London to roll him up out of nowhere. From the looks of things they where trying to build Shad as dominant, only to change their minds in the middle of the match.
- RAW’s newest superstar Elijah Burke promised to defeat Shawn Michaels next. He was quite convincing too, maybe he will win? I doubt it though.
- What did I tell you? Shawn Michaels goes over Elijah Burke in the joint match of the night. This was superb, and I can really see Burke getting a push on RAW. The match was given some solid in ring time, and Burke was really given room to shine. Michaels went for the Sweet Chin Music, only for Burke to dodge and nail him with a low blow, causing a DQ finish.
- It was announced that next week Batista will go one on one with Shawn Michaels, with the winner challenging CM Punk for the WWE Championship the following week on RAW. I don’t see the logic in giving away a World Heavyweight Championship match on RAW the week of a pay per view.
- In the main event John Cena took on WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho in a non title match. This and the Michaels/ Burke match saved the show for me. This match turned into a superb match, and although it could have been better this was given away on free TV, so I can’t be too fussy about it. Jericho attempted the walls of Jericho, only to be kicked away by Cena, who connected with the FU for the win.
Overall: A good show that was let down by a boring and uneventful undercard. With the Bash only three weeks away Elijah Burke V. Shawn Michaels and Mickie James defending the Women's Championship against Jillian has been confirmed.
WWE SmackDown Report
- The opening consisted of Triple H laughing about how CM Punk won the World Heavyweight title from Edge. Edge and his posse (I cant believe I got that word into a show report) walked out onto the stage, and Vickie Guerrero made a main event of Triple H taking on both Umaga & Carlito in a triple threat match… for the World Heavyweight Championship.
- Trevor Murdoch didn’t get off to a great start on SmackDown, he had to job to Mike Knox. You know that your career is in a tailspin when you’re jobbing to Mike Knox.
- Natayla went over Maria in a short squash match. Thank god this was kept short, and the news that the Diva’s title doesn’t look to be happening really does make me feel better about this abysmal match.
- WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz cut a promo backstage. I don’t know if it is just me, but these two usually put on enjoyable skits, and this was no different. They promised to dominate on SmackDown.
- I didn’t see the point in this fatal four way match. It seems like the booking team just drew names out of a hat to make this match. Anyway, Gregory Helms made his long awaited return here, going up against The Miz, Charlie Haas and Jesse Dalton. For some reason Jesse, the least talented guy in the ring, went over, pinning Charlie Haas to do so. Hopefully Helms return can improve things on SmackDown.
- A mysterious video package played, claiming that “He will return”. I’m pretty sure I know who it is, but I will let you draw your own conclusions.
- Kenny Dykstra finally returned to a WWE ring, getting a win over Super Crazy in the process. This was nothing special, but it’s good to see some lesser seen talent being featured, and with a win for Dykstra here, maybe his long awaited push will actually happen.
- Triple H cut a promo backstage. It was the same as every other promo he does – plug WWE Shopzone, make a few jokes and promises to defeat (or bury) his opponents tonight. I don’t doubt it either.
- Matt Hardy actually managed to carry The Great Khali to a watchable match here, although it didn’t last too long. Matt got very little offence in, with Khali dominating the match with pure power. Khali locked in the Vice Grip, only for Matt to grab the nearby bottom rope. Khali refused to let go, and was disqualified. Khali proceeded to destroy Hardy. Looks like a Matt Hardy/ Great Khali feud is coming up. Why?
- Edge and his posse (Twice in one report!) get comfortable backstage before the main event. Vickie guerrero’s voice really annoys me, and I feel sorry for Edge being stuck in a storyline with her.
- Triple H took on both Carlito and Umaga for the WWE Championship in an excellent main event. People thought that this would turn into a handicap match, but Umaga was not going to work with Carlito, who finally gets a world title match. As always, Triple H looks like the strongest man in the ring, taking everything both men could throw at him and fighting back. It was not a surprise when Triple H connected with the Pedigree on Carlito for the win, while Umaga was laid out on the outside. Triple H retains, and manages to bury two future world champions in the process.
Overall: A decent show that was let down by some very weird booking. Matt Hardy defending the United States Championship against the Great Khali has been confirmed for the Bash, which I still dont see as anthing other than a boring match.

So far this is just plain awesome. I'm loving this idea. The results were very interesting to read. I didnt think the AI did that bad of a job, besides putting One of the Highlanders and Harris together, and having them lose, as well as having D'lo lose in his return. lol. and oh how can i forget Hardy vs. Khali. lol. But anyway, this is just awesome, and im loving it. cant wait to see more.
Reply to my SCC please?

well i can honestly say this is awesome.
i was skeptical but you managed to make the reports interesting and funny. some odd match pairings (khali and hardy - wtf?!?!?) but val getting a win and a jillian/ mickie feud makes me happy.
looking forward to seeing if tew's ai books tna better than tna's creative team does.

‘Rated R’ Weekly Wrestling Newsletter Week 1, July, 2008
TNA IMPACT Report
- With only two weeks to go before TNA presents Victory Road it’s going to be a rollercoaster for TNA to pump out matches in time.
- Samoa Joe opened the show, hyping that he is the champion and promising to keep the title for the rest of his career in TNA (Yeah, with Russo working backstage I really see a long title reign coming for Joe). Joe then called out Kevin Nash, and berated him for telling people he isn’t good enough to be champion. Nash told him to prove it at Victory Road against Nash. Joe accepted, and Nash told Joe that he has organized a title defense tonight, against both Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. A good segment, let down by the fact that they are giving away a massive match on free TV.
- Tomko plowed through Sonjay Dutt in like three minutes. Dutt jobbed to make Tomko look dangerous here, and it worked, at the expense of any momentum Dutt had.
- In a bizarre four corners match Jay Lethal went over Alex Shelley, Homicide and Abyss. I get Shelley and Lethal being in here, and Homicide is understandable, but what was with Abyss being in here if he wasn’t even going over? Lethal pinned Homicide for the win, making Abyss look weak at the same time.
- TNA Women’s Champion Awesome Kong issued an open challenge (Man that’s not a woman I would want to wake up too!). Moose accepted the open challenge, only the be destroyed by Kong. Good match to put the champion over.
- There was a segment with Christian Cage challenging the Icon Sting to a ‘Match born out of Respect at Victory Road. Sting appeared in the rafters, and accepted the match. Guess we get Cage/ Sting at Victory Road.
- In a pointless match, BG James went over Robert Roode. Considering Roode has been touted as a future TNA World Heavyweight Champion I found it stupid to job him to a man who hasn’t won a big match in years. Post match Booker T attacked James, apparently because they had some alteration at an autograph signing in the week (Not sure if this was real or kayfabe).
- A segment aired with Kurt Angle talking to Tomko backstage. Robert Roode walked up to them, fresh off of losing to BG James, and offered him support in the main event. Angle shrugged him off, and Roode walked off looking angry.
- In the shock of the night, Eric Young became the new X-Division Champion, getting the win over Petey Williams. I cant decide if I’m happy or angry about this, since I’m a fan of Young, but there was no hype for this match what so ever. The match itself was great, and when Scott Steiner attempted to interfere Kaz made the save, allowing Young to roll Williams up, and win his first X-Division Championship.
- Backstage Scott Steiner told Williams that he was disappointed with him for losing the X-Division Championship, and that at Against All Odds Scott Steiner will issue an open challenge to any X-Division talent. Looks like we get to see Steiner squash another member of the TNA talent pool.
- In the massive main event Samoa Joe retaining the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. This was a stupidly huge main event for an edition of TNA IMPACT, but it was easily match of the night, and the fans in attendance really enjoyed it. At one point I was thinking that we would get another new champion when Styles hit Joe with the Styles Clash, only for Angle to make the save. Robert Roode made interference, costing Angle the match by nailing him with a steel chair, allowing Joe to lock in the Coquina Clutch for the win. Looks like Angle will be playing the face in his and Roode’s feud.
Overall: The show set up some interesting matches, especially Angle/ Roode, and Eric Young’s X-Division title victory got the biggest reaction of the night, bar nothing. The show could have been better, but it could also have been much much worse.
In other TNA News TNA signed Pro Wrestling Guerrilla superstar Disco Machine.
