TNA held their first ever event in Texas last night and it was just 5 miles away from my house so I packed up the wife and my oldest son (naturally wearing his Smackdown! tshirt) and we went to the show. I really didn't know what to expect as I don't know how popular TNA is around here but there were probably 500 or so people there. I can honestly tell you that this simple house show was the most fun at a live event I've ever had and I've been to Wrestlemanias, Rumbles, Survivor Series, Raws, Smackdowns....everything. These guys put out 110% for a f'n house show and all the wrestlers were awesome with the fans and were willing to sign or take pictures if you got to them. Except for road agent DLo Brown...he was being a dick to everyone. Interesting thing of note.....when we ran into LAX after the show, I jokingly told Hernandez "next time you guys come down, bring Shelly!" He laughed and shrugged and was like "alright alright.....I'm not a big fan but ok." What's up with that I wonder? Anyway, show was awesome, fans were electric and after the show, you were able to actually get in the ring and take pics with Booker T. We got a polaroid that I'll have to scan later but overall, other than the spotlight that f'd up all my in ring pics and that damn security guard who was in all the others, we had a blast.

Homicide & Hernandez were against adding Shelly Martinez to the group, they aren't fans of her on a personal level.

I don't see why L.A.X needs her.. honestly.. she adds nothing to them. TNA basically said "Okay, hey look. We're going to pay you to look "hot", talk to the ring, "cheer" (if that's what you call what she does), & then leave." It doesn't add nothing to L.A.X.

LAX were there at intermission. I heard Joe did it in Austin though. They were both really cool. Hernandez was really nice and soft spoken for such a massive guy. As for the meet and greet, Booker T was the only one. It was $20 bucks to do it but hell, we got to get in the f'n ring WITH Booker T! Who by the way, looks and sounds REALLY happy to be there in TNA. Here's the polaroid:

Yeah the TNA house shows are REALLY fun and great to see. My Brother and I went down to the one in Oshawa on the 30th and it was a blast. I too got to go in the ring but it was with Kurt Angle. Funny note though I know most of you know this but the TNA world title is broken and in the pic the side plate is hanging off.Looks like you guys had fun.

I'm glad to see you had a great time. Yeah, they have some of the best wrestlers when it comes to fan interaction. If you ever get the chance to meet "Cowboy" James Storm I highly suggest you take it. Oh, and they have polarid envolopes make sure to knock them over a little bit (long story).
