From Wrestlingherald.com
As Jason Powell reported earlier today Tomko has quit TNA and apparently last night was his last with the company. Tomko has been very unhappy with his push in recent months but he only has his self to blame. TNA was pushing him as a top guy until he skipped the Lockdown fanfest back in April and was suspended for 30 days. Since his return he has only been used here and there and has not won a single match. I am also told that his attitude has really changed in recent months as well. One source inside TNA told me "He feels like he is a much bigger star than he really is". Also he allegedly told TNA creative on a number of occasions that he could get a job back with WWE anytime he wants it when he was unhappy with the way he was being booked.
Jason Powell reported as well that Kevin Nash walked out of last night's tapings very angry. I have not been able to find out exactly why but I do know that it had something to do with the booking of either a match or an angle. I was told by a source in the company that he does these sort of things all the time and that no one expects him to quit TNA over this.
Kurt Angle has expressed some intrest in working in the X Division before the year is over. Angle wants to be known as a wrestler who can do it all and he really liked the match he had with Jay Lethal last year. He has said that he would love to work with Petey Williams who he is a big fan of.

I'm a huge fan of Petey fan, so I'd love to see a Petey/Angle match. I don't see Angle taking the Destroyer though.

Kurt Angle has gold medals, Tomko doesn't. Kurt Angle has won World titles, and Tomko hasn't. Nope, you've got all your facts straight, when it comes to TNA..

Maybe the fact Kurt's "wreckless driving" while "DUI" was called in by a chick with a DUI on her record, Kurt's plate was written down on a receipt from a liqor store had something to do with it?

You do know that Kurt failed the sobriety test, right?

Kurt Angle has gold medals, Tomko doesn't. Kurt Angle has won World titles, and Tomko hasn't. Yup, so much for equality in TNA... Maybe the fact Kurt's "wreckless driving" while "DUI" was called in by a chick with a DUI on her record, Kurt's plate was written down on a receipt from a liqor store had something to do with it? I don't understand your point. Are you saying that that makes Kurt less guilty? The guy failed the sobriety test and refused the blood test. My point still stands.

Kurt is going to destroy himself in the ring Sucks about Tomko, I really liked where they were going with him before Im sick of people saying that about Angle. He doesnt have to jump from the rafters just because hes in the X Division. Theres no reason he should have to change his wrestling style just because he goes to the X Division. Also, I agree about the Tomko thing. I was becoming more and more a fan than I was when he debuted.

Funny how the interviews with the usual TNA kiss asses they say everyone is happy and all is smiles and joy in the locker room...

- Dave Meltzer is reporting that Kevin Nash's walk out at Tuesday's taping was due to his dislike for the way he was going to be booked in the main event. The plan was for Nash to be eliminated in a 10 man gauntlet during a commercial break. Nash didn't like the idea which they refused to change so he walked out. The gauntlet ended up not even taking place after all. Apparently things are ok between Nash and TNA now and he is expected back at the Hard Justice PPV.

For Tomko, he really has come into his own in Japan and I could really see him and Bernard aka A-Train returning to WWE at some point as I am sure that WWE would really love to bring in a competant big man tag team at some point. I am sure that the fed is still watching these two guys as they really are very talented and from what I heard had very good attitudes backstage in the fed. The general feeling that I have about the backstage "politics" of TNA is that they are really very a grassroots type of company obviously. They have these agents:
Simon Diamond aka Pat Kenney Savio Vega Disco Inferno aka Glen Gilberti
I really can't see these guys as very understanding of the business and what to do to be succesful. If Tomko "had a bad attitude" I doubt he would make it the way he has in Japan as they really don't put up with very much even from Gaijin. I see this is a pretty bad loss for TNA as they really could have built some good stuff around this guy to compete against WWE at some point.
Nash is just a big baby at times. I don't doubt that he pulls this crapa lot.
Angle wanting to work the X Division isn't that surprising as he is just about the same size and really has great matches with guys around that size. Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio... the list goes on and on and I could see Angle bring that division back up to the same as say the women's division which is obviously the #1 division in TNA lately.
