i took a bus one time and that was enough for me (dont like to fly unless i have to)
they didnt check luggage or passengers and i realized how unsafe it could've been. not even going thru a metal detector when i got on and it was right after 9-11

i took a bus one time and that was enough for me (dont like to fly unless i have to) they didnt check luggage or passengers and i realized how unsafe it could've been. not even going thru a metal detector when i got on and it was right after 9-11 I've only ever seen one bus stop that DID check bags and luggage, it was in Memphis a few years ago when I was going up to Pittsburgh. They had Military Police all over the place randomly searching people... I have no idea why either. Coulda been a one off thing, but it would be pretty wise for them to employ some sort of system. Unfortunately, they rush people on the bus to keep schedules (or make up lost time). I swear, it should be required to have your stuff at the very least x-rayed while you stand around and do absolutely nothing. |

Because of crazy **** like this we need the SUPER MOTHER ING DEATH PENALTY. How it works: The criminal is electrocuted, then shot, electrocuted some more, stabbed in the genitals, then electrocuted again, decapitated, then thrown into a pool of sharks, the sharks are then killed and sherved to the parents of the criminal, that punishment is only used in twisted homicide cases like this. Sorry people, I have my pissed off out of rage moments, thinking about it now it's just inhuman to do what I just posted, I am sorry if my comment offended anyone. Besides, with so many bus-stops around the place, you could never check everyone anyway. Plus the cost of such stuff would drive up the price of a bus ticket. This was a real freak accident. The guy was obviously out of his head, or just snapped. Its not like this thing happens so often that i'd feel any need for real security on buses, except possibly allowing bus drivers to carry a gun or something (if they don't already, im not in the US/Canada so i dont know for sure). |

I watched a linking video after that one, that interviewed some of his friends... and honestly, it brought back a lot of feelings and emotions from when I was a senior in high school, when my best friend was murdered. Knocked out, thrown in his own car, and driven to a dirt road and ran over 8 times... the guy who did it, drove HIS car back to HIS apartment, and stole his car stereo, and some cash in his apartment. They caught him three months later, and he hung himself in jail before he ever told anyone why he did it. It's easy for people to say how they 'would' react, it's easy for people to say the death penalty solves nothing... but I'll tell you the truth, I wish to the Lord himself that Jacob's killer could have suffered a death that was as brutal as the one he committed. When I found out he hung himself, I didn't know whether to be pissed off because he didn't die a more suitable death, or happy that the scum was gone. In any case, after someone who was considered a nothing less than my own family was killed, all of my preconceived ideas on how sentencing someone to the death penalty was wrong, those ideas were quickly thrown out of the window. And the guy who killed Tim McLean, in my opinion, should be fried, whether this guy is a psychopath and has mental problems, or not. |
