A report in the July 29 print edition of the Wrestling Observer has confirmed rumblings that middleweight Jesse Taylor was dropped by the UFC for the second time in the span of four months following his loss at UFC Fight Night 14 to C.B. Dollaway. A member of Team Quest in Temecula, Taylor’s overall MMA record fell to 6-3 at UFN 14 by submitting to Dollaway at 3:58 of round 1 after being caught in a Peruvian necktie. While UFC officials were said to be disappointed by the loss, the Observer indicates that Taylor’s comments about Quinton “Rampage” Jackson in the wake of Jackson’s arrest by the Costa Mesa Police Department earlier this month is what did him in. Taylor was a finalist on the seventh season of TUF but lost his spot after being kicked off the show by UFC President Dana White following an incident at a Station Casinos hotel in Las Vegas in which Taylor was intoxicated and was seen on camera kicking out the window of a limousine. In response to seeing the tape of Taylor, Jackson said on the show that the UFC didn’t need someone like Taylor representing the company. When asked about Jackson’s recent arrest, Taylor was quoted as saying “What goes around, come around, I guess.” The comments by Taylor were said to have angered UFC officials. A contrite Taylor later backed off his statements after it was revealed that Jackson had undergone a mental evaluation but a final decision to dismiss Taylor again had already been made. - Iron Heart[/center]

So they can release someone who talks about the crime....but not the man who commits it? That is bull****. Never cared for Taylor, but still.

He is in bad medical condition and was out of it. So he cant be held fully responsable for what happened. Jesse Taylor was unprofessional about his response to the situation and deserved to be fired. Rampage helped him alot on TUF and he should not have said those things. He is immature and unproffessional.

So Wait just because he is in a "Bad state of mind" he can hit some cars, run from the police, almost hit some people, then get held at gun point and it "isn't his fault". Taylor is right, what comes around does happen, and Rampage as like Jesse were both representing the company...wrong. The only reason Rampage is still with him is because he's Rampage. I bet if it was Irvin, Florian, or Jardin, they would all be gone. Anyway, Jesse wasn't too good to start with but it is kinda wrong.

But if they can let a person who murders someone get out of the death scentence off an insanity claim then him being out of it from medications and depression gives him some credibility. Yes he deserves punishment but not being fired. That will just further his depression. He needs to pay fines or do community service. But I dont think jailtime or being fired is fairIMO.

Seriously, if someone else is to blame for Rampage's actions, please let me and the rest of us know who the it is because I don't have a clue. In my mind, there is only ONE guilty party and that would be Quinton Jackson and nobody else. He was the one behind the wheel...He was the one involved in the accidents and took off and he was the one and ONLY one facing flat on the ing pavement getting arrested at gun-point. If it's not all his fault, then tell me who the hell else is to blame for HIS actions??
