Correct me if I'm wrong, but Abyss is a man, and Awesome Kong is a woman. (ignores pending jokes)
Did he (Abyss) not lay his hands on a woman (Kong), even though there is a "Strict policy" when it comes to man on woman violence or something of that nature?

"..." I thought they just ignored it altogether, but leave it to TNA to incite something that can be contradicted.

Tna can only not touch women on spike tv . on ppv tna can touch women as much as they want . TNA did not start the rule. spike tv did.

Actually Tenay made a comment on the PPV saying "Jim Cornette's not going to like that...", leading someone to think that it's a TNA rule.

All I want to know is why they say on-screen, "there will be no male-female contact." Yet, on PPV we just miraculously forget about it. I guess it's like the DQ rule, that only comes into play when it's an absolute finish, other-wise a referee can miss anything effortlessly.

It's a SpikeTV thing. It was brought up on news sites and while back and every single ttime TNA's brought it up they say "SpikeTV doesn't allow man on women violence". The reason they allow it on PPV is because it's not on Spike.

Turns out I slipped up, it was Raeisha Saed.
5:30 in, and more os minced words saying "Cornette's not gonna like this". I still though with dispute the point of making it a cardinal rule in TNA that there won't be men hitting women and yet they permitted it because Abyss is a face.
Didn't Roode get punished for punching Sharmell, or at the very least, didn't they made a big deal about it?
