Today I received a package from fellow WFer Adam Bomb. He had a gift card a few weeks back from a purchase he made from Sideshow collectibles. He came to me and told me he wanted to make a donation to my horror room since there wasn't really anything he wanted. I have honestly never had someone just give me something like that and just didn't really know what to say. Well, he got this in and sent it my way and I am forever grateful. It's the SideShow collectibles 14 inch Chucky figure. This is my first Sideshow piece and I absolutely love it. It's one of my favorite possessions in all of my horror room now. It came MOC of course but I'm not a MOC collector so I took it out of the package immediately. It came with a stand and it's fully articulated. It's VERY poseable. The doll itself did not come with a knife. But that presented me with the challenge of making my own knife since it's nearly impossible to find a toy knife these days. I wanted the knife to be like Chucky's voodoo knife from the first film. So I took the liberty to sculpt my own knife using sculpy III. I sculpted and painted the knife, "bloodied" it and it fit in his hand perfectly. I'm very happy with this piece and I want to thank Adam for hooking me up. I plan on taking new pictures of my entire horror room sometime within the next week or two. Thanks for looking! Here is Chucky! Chucky on his stand Closeup of the face. VERY detailed sculpt Chucky with my hand sculpted bloody voodoo knife A closer look at the knife The knife solo Chucky with all of my other much smaller Chucky figures Chucky chilling in the window

I'm more interested in those Jason masks and outfits Where did you get them? Nice Chucky by the way...Very nice of Adam. I actually bought them as blanks meaning they were completely white with no weathering or paint. I hand painted them. I have a link in my sig featuring better pics of them if you're interested in seeing them. I love painting those things and I'm starting to paint them for commissions from other people ;D I also customized the costume on the left. It has a lot of weathering done to it as well as slits in the fabric with pieces of fake skin attached that I sculpted and painted.

That would scare me to have in my house. Hell, my buddy scared me, I had to lock him up in a closet. It looks really nice though. Sideshow figures are really detailed and great.

That's a really nice gift.
I know horror rooms are fun to visit all the time, but you must really like to go in yours when October rolls around.

I had most of my horror stuff stored away until I moved into a bigger place back in January. So this October will be my first with a horror room It's great to have a place to display all of my stuff.

I see. I know what you mean. I've kept basically everything i've ever collected. I keep all collectibles and action figures in boxes to save room. I hate living in this appartment with limited space. I can't wait to move into a house where I can display my star wars collection, WWE collection, Halo collection, and all the other stuff i've accumulated over the years. It'll probably have to wait untill I turn 18 and get my own place.

It'll probably have to wait untill I turn 18 and get my own place. It always killed me to have to have all my stuff stashed away. It's awesome to be able to take up an entire room with it. Once I got this room I started getting rid of my wrestling stuff as my horror stuff just overtook all of that once I got it out and displayed it.

Is there a TV in this horror room so you can sit and watch horror movies while you're there? Is there any special lighting in there? I'd probablt hang up some of the orange icecle lights if I had a horror room. I love decorating for Halloween.

Damn that's creepy... and badass!
Glad you like it man, Sideshow KICK ASS! And I know what you mean about a collection over taking another, my Alien/Predator collection slowly phased out my WWE collection. It's so much more fun though going after ONE specific thing for me though, well... as far as collectibles. I mean I'm on a constant search for old model kits, and I collect punk records. Aside from that, I have a small collection of CM Punk stuff too.
Anyway, without spiraling off topic into a black hole, I'm REALLY happy you like your Sideshow Chucky. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute something else if they decide to slip me another giftcard, lol. I enjoy seeing collections grow, and I knew you could find something, get some updated room pics!
-And by the way, very VERY big props on that knife!

As far as my wrestling collection I mainly kept old ECW guys and CM Punk stuff as well. lol. I have a decent sized wrestling collection as well. I just don't have the room to display it now that I have all of my horror stuff out and continue to grow it. I'll definitely get those pics of my horror room up sometime soon. I think I'll hold out until I get my Jason undermask/latex hood that I showed you recently.

I just knew they had some licenses of some companies with classic horror movies, and after I browsed the site I thought, "man, I never post in the horror thread, but I'll bet someone would love a 12" Sideshow Jason, then I thought, "damn, I bet that guy with the horror room would be the most grateful!"
It took a while to come into stock again, but I loved getting the message from you today that you finally got it and you thought it was amazing. Can't wait to see in hand pics of that mask/hood too!

Some people can just be dicks in the world, but theirs people like Adam who are just plain nice, giving someone a random gift just for nothing.
Anywho that Chucky doll is great, i plan on getting it one day, and that knife you made only makes the fig better.
