Unless Denver has an amazing season, I'd love for the Jets to win the SB just to stick it to the Packers.

YES!!! The Jets will release Chad Pennington who will be signed the San Francisco 49ers thus ending Alex D. Smiths worthless career and making a playoff team again!!!! or just wishful thinking I like Chad though, I have some of his HS football games on tape

I remember when Boomer Esiason went to the Jets when he was past his prime and all the Jets fans got excited.

They were showing a Favre tribute on SC, and the draft guy said Brett Favor. lmao

Stupid stupid stupid. Favre finished last year with one of the best years of his career and now he's going to taint it by playing in New York. I can't even name one Jets wideout... who do they even have on that team besides Pennington and Thomas Jones?

So, that leaves Thomas Jones.

I have heard that their will possibly be a 3 team deal happening within the week. With Favre in the end going to the Vikings to get around the 3 first round pick penalty.

Does this mean the Favre saga may finally be over?! I know I'll still hear about him nonstop, but at least now I don't need to worry about it. I mean, he's a great player and all, but I was so sick of hearing about him. Nope, I can see it now. Breaking News: Favre's jet lands in New York. 20 minutes later... Developing Story: Favre in meeting with Jets officials.

LOL. If I was him I'd rather retire than play for the Jets. He's going to hate it. Why taint your career, ruin your legacy with Green Bay, act like a little bitch....and THEN end up going to a crappy team? He should have just stayed retired. His image will be tarnished now and he will be remembered as a guy who stayed around too long rather than a guy who retired after losing one of the greatest playoff games ever one game away from the Super Bowl. agreed ughh i hate the jets and i HATE eric mangini....he does not deserve to coach a player like favre its too bad favre is going to waste his last season playing for a sh*tty team

I wonder how many more years he'll stick around. Surely he didn't create all this fuss just for one year.

Ted Thompson better hope that Aaron Rodgers is all that he thinks he is because I have no doubt that his job is on the line. Regardless of how Brett Favre behaved, he will forever be known as the man who drove Brett out of Green Bay.
Say the Jets get a wild card berth, and the Packers miss the playoffs at 8-8 or 7-9. Thompson will be gone.
Now I gotta find a way to download all the Jets games.
