WWE is looking to get as much out of The Great Khali while they still can. The belief is that he won't be with the company for the long haul due to his ailing knees, as they continue to give him problems. Khali was said to not be too aggressive in rehab during his last round of knee surgeries. Nowadays, Khali struggles to get around and people are questioning his long term future in the business.
From NoDQ.com
I feel bad for the guy but he's horrible to watch in the ring. His promo's are even worse. So i'll be glad when he's gone.
Thoughts?

So he's going to go back to India and resume his cop duty. He better hope none of the criminals decide to run.

Great Khali doesn't walk, the earth moves under him.

Even though I don't like him as a wrestler. It still sucks for the guy to struggle to walk around just doing what he loves to do.

I hate for anyone to ever be forced to retire due to their body breaking down.

It really sucks that he's in that condition. Also, it's really not the best thing to see on the WWE's part--that they'll use a wrestler for all they're worth while they can, even though they're hurt.

That sucks for him. Although this crap has been said so many times about different people and it's usually false.

I feel sorry about his knees but if they are hurting him so much then wrestling is NOT the best job!
I will be SOOO happy once he retires and hopefully gets healthy because he SUCKS in the ring and on the mic..

I feel bad for Khali, he plays his character well, I'd never wish career ending injuries on anybody no matter how bad they were...

.....and they put him in a match for the world title at the second biggest PPV of the year?Last time I checked, Summer Slam hasn't been the second biggest since 2000. It's still considered the 2nd biggest PPV of the year. They may not promote it as much as they used to but it's still 2nd to 'Mania. It's too bad he's hurt, but I can't imagine they ever planned a long term future for him. It's probably better he gets out anyway. His matches are consistent for the most part of him dominating the opponent. He might as well save his knees while he has the chance. I'll still love him for his million dollar give away appearance.
