Just lost my first game to Goalie 31-28. Came down to a fumbled punt return for a field goal in the final 2 seconds.

It mighta been closer had anybody remembered there was a tight end on the field, and also if the subtle lag didn't take away at least 4 of my passes due to mashing on the A button. Oh well, it coulda been much much worse. Good game.

Oh well, it coulda been much much worse. Good game. I agree, the lag killed me on that pick I threw with Romo. I was pounding the button over and over and when he finally threw the ball, you had 3 guys in the same vicinity. I had a couple other times I tried mashing a button and he just didn't want to throw to him. Kinda frustrating. |

Well if you're up by more than 28 in the third quarter, and he has yet to stop you, can you show that you have a little bit of class and leave him some of his dignity and run out the clock? A win is a win, don't kick dirt in the other player's face while you're at it.

I never ever blitz, NEVER. 3 offensive plays and ount on 4th or field goal in posistion. I just went for a 2 pt conversion late in the game to get my score to 60. I play by the rules. It's just that he never stopped me. I don't even understand why you wanted your score to be 60. The only way you did well is if you completely dominated and heald him to limited yards, and ran well. Was it bomb after bomb? Hot route the RB deep? I just don't understand how someone allows THAT much offense in 5 minute quarters...nor do I understand why you felt the need to be a dick and go for 2 all the time when you're winning. I can't stand people that play like bungholes online. |

Yes there is, it's because it shows a bit of dignity. You're not an NFL coach, and even if you were, running up the score would still be in bad taste.

I don't know how far behind you guys I am, but my 360 is on its way back and I'm finally get mah muneez today so i should be able to buy Madden as well. You aren't that far behind, at least I don't think so. I'm pretty sure whoever is leading (last time I checked) has like 3 or 4 wins.
No I did not do bomb after bomb. I ran 20-30 times and only threw 11 passes. But he blitzed when I passed the ball. So needless to say my recievers were open with no one around Dwayne Jarret caught two passes for 157 yards and 2 TDs. Also why do people have to be whiny bitches on the net. I play Madden fair but I am not gonna run the clock out.  that Imma do three plays if I get stopped okay punt. If I don't get stopped I'm gonna keep going. No reason not to. Yeah, there is a reason. It's called being a good sport. Not everybody is gonna have the same abilities in this league. It's all about fun here and the second that you decide to run up the score is the second that it stops being about fun. When I was at the end of my first game, I was up by 10 with about 1:30 left. I was at the 40 and I decided to run the clock out with just some kneel downs. Why? Cause I respected the other guy. He and I fought for the whole game and I respect him enough to at least let him only lose by 10 and not like 17 or 20 or whatever. I know that all of us want to win but, we want to have fun. Stop trying to show us that you are the best at Madden. Maybe you are, great then you are gonna win the league. But you gotta have some sportsmanship. In real life, if you were a coach and you were up by 28 or whatever, and you were clearly gonna win, would you tell your guys to go out there and run up the score? No, cause you would have respect for the other team. I find out you are pulling this kinda **** again, and you are out. Sorry for my rant but these are the people that I hate when I play online on Madden. Cocky jackasses who think they are cool cause they can run the score up cause they are better than you. |
