I guess this goes here... how does this move work?... well, how is it supposed to hurt you?
Just wondering as i've been looking at some past videos and i can't see how it would hurt the person recieving it

IN all of his moves it looks like they have no effect.

IN all of his moves it looks like they have no effect. But even with others doing it like MVP it looks sooo weak

Well, I guess it's supposed to wrench your arm and hurt the back of your neck.

Same as the Undertaker's Tombstone, clearly undi lands on his knees & protects the guys head so how is that so devastating??

Same as the Undertaker's Tombstone, clearly undi lands on his knees & protects the guys head so how is that so devastating?? with that move, you get the visual of a man being driven headfirst onto the canvas, so it looks effective. the overdrive doesn't seem like it would hurt at all. the offender lands on his knee, with the guy's head on top of it.

But my point is you DON'T get that visual as it is always very obvious that 'taker has protected them by landing on his knees & keeping their head far away from the mat.

I've never seen the point of that move and it seems that so many guys have used it as their finisher.
