The Bridge section of the track. Heikki, victorious in Budapest, 3 weeks ago.3 weeks after Heikki Kovalainen's maiden victory in Hungary. A brand new task awaits all of the drivers. Valencia, the second of three street circuits this season, the third being the first night-time race in Singapore later this year, plays host to the European Grand Prix and it's guaranteed drama and excitement from the off.. The eye-catching part of the track is The Bridge and that will be a focal point in the entire race. The drivers would have studied hard for this race and will be prepared for what's ahead with 57 laps to do, this will be a big test of all their abilities. Lewis Hamilton will be hoping for some better luck than what he had last time out, he's sure to be in the running for victory. Similarly Felipe Massa must have been crestfallen when his Ferrari engine gave out on him with 3 laps left to run in Hungary, he was clear in 1st place, he'll be hoping his car will be up to the challenge but I wouldn't be surprised to see Ferrari slip a little here. Raikkonen needs to be quicker, it's as simple as that, he hasn't really mounted a challenge for victory at all in the last 3 Grand Prix so he needs a performance and should be pushing hard. Heikki Kovalainen will be hoping he can capitalise on his first win and chalk up win 2, he'll be in and around but unless Massa or Hamilton have problems, he will be behind them two at least I would have thought. BMW, Toyota, Renault, Red Bull, Williams, Honda & Sebastien Vettel will be duking it out for the other points positions and with it being a new track, they may sneak podiums or even a race win. I should just get home from football for the start of the race Sunday then. Should be good, looks like almost every corner is sharp too.

Vettel is flying, chance to be on Pole!
Trulli, Massa, Heidfeld & Hamilton also in the mix for Pole. Raikonnen & Kovalainen thru to top 10 shootout. Bourdais & Kubica also in there.

Real chance of a podium for Vettel tomorrow as I believe he has quite a bit more fuel than the top dogs and he is quick round this circuit, can't wait.

I know what you mean about Vettel, but I can't see him getting above Raikonnen, Kubica or Kovalainen. Can see any of the top three taking this.

Probably one of the most boring races I have ever watched.

Aye, really disappointing as a spectacle. Apparently they're gonna revamp it for next year to encourage more overtaking. Ferrari look like a bunch of cock-up merchants this year, even tho Massa won, they nearly fudged themselves. Vettel 6TH from grid to flag , Driver of the day from Brundle but he probably got it for the whole weekend, going to RB will be interesting, he will easily out-pace Webber, hopefully the car is faster next year and he can compete with the big boys. Result: Driver Team Felipe Massa Ferrari Lewis Hamilton McLaren Mercedes Robert Kubica BMW Sauber Heikki Kovalainen McLaren Mercedes Jarno Trulli Toyota Sebastian Vettel Scuderia Toro Rosso Timo Glock Toyota Nico Rosberg Williams Nick Heidfeld BMW Sauber Sebastien Bourdais Scuderia Toro Rosso Nelson Piquet Jr Renault Mark Webber Red Bull Racing Jenson Button Honda Racing Giancarlo Fisichella Force India Kazuki Nakajima Williams Rubens Barrichello Honda Racing David Coulthard Red Bull Racing Kimi Raikkonen Ferrari Adrian Sutil Force India Fernando Alonso Renault Ah well, SPA next, hope it rains
