What do the rest of you think of him? Made an instant impact at Newcastle since joining. Steal of the summer at £5m imo. Played amazing at Man United.

He has been really impressive so far, would like to see the assists and goals come, but the signs are there, he is scarilly fast, even whilst dribbling.
£5M? I did not know that is what he cost, great business, and with Collachini (sp?), it seems as if Newcastles approach to transfers with Dennis Wise seems to be working.

So Keegan doesnt buy the players? Wise buys em? Then Keegan works out how to use them on the pitch... bit unusual! Seems to be workin ok tho!

He's unreal for Newcastle. Create's things out of nothing. United couldn't handle him first game of the season.

Dennis Wise is the Director Of Football (correct?), and Keegan tells him who he wants to buy, and they talk and work it out between them. Wise also has input on who to buy, Keegan just has to agree. Then they go to Mike Ashley (who supplies the dough) and say "Look, this is who we want to buy blah blah blah. Will you fund us?" Then the transfer procedures start. I think I am correct, if anyone wants to correct then feel free...

Poor man's Shauny Wright I must say he looked quality against United. And how's Joseph Barton doing? Heard he could get a 15 match suspension, best SALE EVER!

how's Joseph Barton doing? Played the last few minutes of the Arsenal game. Nasri was nearly crying over a challenge where Barton obviously got the ball. Would have just been complaining because it's Barton. The board wanted to sell him late on in the transfer window but Keegan said he wanted to keep him... That's one of the reasons Keegans had a bust up with Ashley and might be leaving Newcastle.

reminds me of Ginola. Looks a little frail though. Immediate impact but time will tell if the physical english game gets to him in the later part of the season.
If Owen stays injury free, and the defence gel.. this team has potential to be as good or surpass Keegan's first reign. Tht team's weaklink was the keeper.. this time round, theyve got one of the best keepers around.
Sadly... they will not match their runner's up position back in the 90s. The money clubs have pulled too far ahead...

This Keegan thing is very odd, Newcastle's statement doesn't clear anything up at all.
