I like this move by TNA. It isn't going to drive the ratings up but having a guy like Foley could help the overall TNA product. Mick is a smart guy and I think he truly does love pro wrestling. I hope he can help mentor some of the young guys in the locker room. He may even have some creative ideas as well.
However i'm sure this will be sh*t on by WWE fans posing as TNA fans. I can already hear it.
Foley is a has been.
TNA signs another WWE reject.
This will help the ratings for one week.
It is coming.

I like Mick as talent, but I really hope they get him in on some behind the scenes stuff and booking. I think he is very creative, and could be a great asset to TNA. I look forward to seeing where this goes in the future. Congrats Mick and TNA.

Hey, I've always loved Foley, and Im sure I'll love whatever it is that he does in TNA. Also, I'll co-sign on the replacing of Don West with Mrs. Foley's baby boy.

Mike Tenay is good when he's not getting fed stuff from people who have no idea what they are talking about (see Jarrett, Jeff). Listen to any of Tenay's WCW commentary from the 97 or so WCW.. he knows his shit.. He just isn't allowed to use it..
Don West, on the other hand, is actually a monkey.
Foley could help TNA by leaps and bounds.

The only thing he could do right was spew useless information about the luchadores. Tenay is not a lead announcer. He never was in WCW. He was always the third banana. Don West is entertaining. He gets excited about the show and shows it in his commentary. Tenay just sits there making old lady faces and saying stupid sh*t. Pretty much the same thing he did in WCW. Was JJ telling him what to say then too? |

Mick Foley is a well liked and respected guy in the business. If they let him have some say on the product this could be a good thing for them.
