In the beginning of Sheik Abdul Bashir's entrance you hear a plane flying then crashing, that seems like they're pushing a gimmick a bit too much.
Maybe that's just my opinion.

What? I was agreeing with you. I believe the entire gimmick is too far. All started with that finishing move. WMD. But the entrance is just horrible. I was saying that as a jackass, you just play it off as "oh it doesnt bother me".

It's just a gimmick, it's not like any of the things he says/does are his actual intent. It's professional wrestling, you shouldn't take it so seriously.

I think it is classic. I enjoy it because of how well he plays it. Do I enjoy the actual gimmick? No. Do I find it offensive? A little. Does he play it perfectly? Yes, and to me that is what matters. It is pro-wrestling and he is an entertainer. He reminds me of a strong antagonist in a movie. He is so evil that is amazes you and when it is all said and done you know it is fake.

I don't think the plane crashes folks. I think the noise of the plane just kinda fades into his song - you don't hear a big BOOM - it just fades in.

i love it. Im all for anti american gimmicks as long as you have someone that is American to defend the country...The Hogan-Slaughter/Sheik deal was GREAT....Hassan-Hogan was good, Hassan-Taker sucked and This and Apollo Creed wanna be sucks as well
