PWTorch has learned that Gail Kim has personally reached out to Dixie Carter to see if a deal can be struck for her to return to TNA after all. As PWTorch has reported in multiple instances over the past week, friends have said she felt terrible about leaving TNA, but felt she had to because WWE's offer was at least triple what TNA's supposed final offer was.
Kim did reportedly meet with WWE officials, but has been hestitant to sign a deal with WWE due to her happiness with working for TNA - other than the lowball offer she was given.
From what we understand, neither Kim nor Dixie Carter were happy with the way TNA reps and Kim's reps (lawyers and/or agent) handled the negotiations, and both have decided to at least see if a return could be worked out.
Carter has asked some tough questions to people within TNA lately whom she trusted to handle this part of the business well; there are indications she felt out of the loop and wanted to try to make the situation right.

Of course they'll bring her back... because she hasn't return under a new, masked gimmick.

I'm sorry if I come off whatever - Gail lives in Tampa right? So, to go from Tampa to Orlando a few weeks a year is nothing as far as money goes because she can go home after tapings. Only thing is PPVs/House shows. So, she won't have to pay for hotel in Orlando which is where they spend the most time. You add in hotels/flights/car rentals etc for WWE you're spending more than you would in TNA as far as that goes. You might be making more but you're spending more. So, if you hate to leave TNA this bad - then why leave? See if TNA will give her a % of merch, maybe even pay for hotels *shrugs*.

Maybe Gail Kim is smarter than I thought she was. Leaving TNA at this time would be a huge error in judgment. She is the top face in the hottest womens division in wrestling. She is way over with the TNA fans period. Money is great but maybe Gail actually wants a legacy in wrestling too. She will never build a respectable career in WWE and she knows it. That is the cause of her hesitation if this news is true. WWE doesn't know how to put on a womens match. The best women they have still suck. Gail is leaps and bounds beyond them. It would be a waste of her time.
I hope this news has some truth to it and Gail returns to TNA. Where she belongs.

This sucks but I guess she wants to be paid like a jobber.
Not my problem.
WWE could have given her a title that has some meaning, the WWE WOMEN'S TITLE!
Now she gets to get that white piece of crapagain.
Yawn..

WWE have a total of three women wrestlers who could be confused as competent. Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, and Nattie Neidhart. Outside of them they have nothing. The womens matches they put on are a joke. They have zero ring psychology and can barely pull off the moves they do. Still nothing more than a t&a division. I won't even waste my time arguing the TNA being second rate remarks. I learned a long time ago that you can't debate with an idiot.

Also, speaking the truth makes me an idiot?.. TNA IS second rate - whether you like it, or not.. Please explain to me - how compared to the WWE, TNA can be considered anything other than second-rate?.. sec·ond-rate1. of lesser or minor quality, importance, or the like 2. inferior; mediocre 3. Of the second size, rank, quality, or value

Why do we have to compare? I hate how everything is compared. WWE and TNA, Cena and Austin, Kennedy and Rock. If you spend your whole life comparing crap nothing will ever be good.

TNA is second rate compared to WWE but that doesn't change the fact that the Knockout's division is far better than either WWE Womens's division.

Of the second size, rank, quality, or value What did they say when they called? I'll concede that Victoria is a good wrestler. I forgot about her. Mainly because WWE never does anything right with her. Katie Lea and Jillian are nothing special. Your little definition of second-rate was amusing. You are still an idiot though. TNA is not a second-rate company. They don't have McMahon money but, they are well backed. The roster is superior. The wrestling matches are superior. The story lines right now are no better or worse than WWE's. They have a weekly two hour prime time show on cable. They run monthly ppv's. They have a video game. They turn a profit. What is so second-rate about any of that? The only thing they don't have is the t.v. rating. It takes time to build a widespread fan base. WWE is an old company with generations of conditioned fans. Who seemingly stick with them regardless of the quality of product. I'm pretty sure the average WWE fan would watch paint dry if it had a WWE logo on it. TNA doesn't have that luxury.

This thread is about Gail Kim apparently performing a u-turn and wanting to turn down WWE's first-rate offer, and re-sign with TNA for less money - if she does that, she will be returning to a second-rate company.. that's all there is to it.. As for my "amusing definition of second-rate" - that IS the definition of the term second-rate - and TNA falls under all three of those.. You say you learnt that you can't have a debate with an idiot - well, by the same token, it's not possible to have a debate with a blinkered, fanboy..

Obviously you prefer WWE. TNA being second rate is your opinion and you are entitled to it. That doesn't mean I have to agree with you. I would like to point out that if you are going to dispute my idiot claim. You need to check your grammar. "Learnt" not only sounds ignorant it is ignorant. It also isn't a word. If Kim turns down the chance of a return to the big time, and would rather wrestle in an amusement park, in front of a couple of thousand fans - than in sold out arenas and a worldwide TV audience, that's quite sad, IMO..

Well I guess I have to take back the idiot remark. I'm not as brushed up on the "queens english" as I should be. Learnt is a word commonly used in "british english". I didn't realize that you were English. That stupid "blinkered" thing makes more sense now as well. Anyway. All of your comments are based on perceived quality. Just because WWE has larger crowds doesn't mean the quality of product is better.
