Does anyone know how long these have been coming on ESPN Classics? I just flipped through channels on my satellite and started watching it. Does anyone know if it's a weekly show or just rare occasions?

The majority of the AWA they show right now on classic was during their worst period and ultimately their last period as a promotion.
After Hennig left, that promotion was worthless.

I agree... for the last couple weeks whenever I flip on to see who's wrestling in AWA I lose all interest in matter of seconds. All I ever see are the Texas Hangmen and random charismatic voids who wouldn't have made it out of the lower tier indies in today's business.

They're back to showing stuff from 1985-1986 Yeah, they showed a show from '86 last night that featured Midnight Rockers against two others in the opener that was cool to watch seeing as how I wasn't alive in 86 and never got to see them as a team in the AWA and rarely saw them in the WWF.

Fun to watch for a while. I got bored with it though haven't watched in a while. I do like how the wrestling seemed a lot more stiff even though it was greatly simplified. I think stars vs jobbers is a highly underrated art in wrestling these days.
