KO of the night goes to Evans. Who ever thought that was going to happen.
To anyone that hasn't seen it: That was worse than the KO Liddell suffered against Rampage, because he was awake after that. He was out for 5 minutes after this. Think Chuck/Vernon White, only a much harder punch, the guy laying down was Liddell.
I love Chuck Liddell, so this sucks for me, but it was a damn good win for Evans.

Evans vs Griffin should be a good fight.

You know, they say that once it's been done before, it can be done again. That's the case tonight. UNREAL. Anyway, great night of fights. Hendo and Rich are back on form and Chuck was badly off form.
Where does Chuck go from here? No Forrest title shot in the future, that's for sure. I guess he either retires, or fights the loser of Shogun/Page, if that happens in November.

Rich has always had great skill with throwing kicks. But I will give hamill credit he gave Franklin quite a challenge, mainly because Hamill taught Franklin Takedown defense.

It was a fun night of fights, without being any real great fights, but hell Rashad knocking the out of Liddell the way he did made it worth it. Nice to see Ace & Hollywood pick up the W's, shocked at Marquardt winning like he did, overall it was a fun card. I was hoping for Liddell to pick up the W to set up Griffin/Liddell, and totally did not expect that to happen, props to Rashad & what should be a title shot against Griffin, awesome knock out.

Once again the LHW division only becomes more confusing.
Props to Evans for the KO though, his foot work during the fight was perfect.

Evans did exactly what you have to do to beat Liddell. Let him come to you, and frustrate him. Bob, and Weave. Wait for a mistake by Liddell and BOOM. Rampage did the exact same thing.

WOW. That was a hell of a knockout. I'm pretty sure Evans knocked Liddell's mohawk sideways with that shot.
Liddell looked mentally ready for the fight, but I think his age is catching up with him finally. Evans had much faster hands and Liddell just couldn't get out of the way. Even before that KO, as the fight went on, Evans started landing a good percentage of his punches right on the button.
Not to take anything away from Evans, because he fought that fight perfectly and definitely earned it. But I think Liddell's age is starting to fail him.

As we speak, Dana White is plotting Rashad Evans death.
I believe it was me that got bashed for saying that Chuck was washed up and that his last victory was a fluke when all of you were on here going, "The Iceman is back! It's the old Chuck baby!"
Apology accepted.
