Morning all, I'm nearly complete on my loose hasbros, just waiting for Kamala to come throught the mail then I'm done, but I was wondering if any Hasbro loose collectors bother with getting two Tatankas, two Smashs or the series 3 Macho Man? I do have two Tatankas, one of which came with a batch but I never intended to get two when I originally began collecting. I'm not bothering with mailaways just getting the standard releases. What do you other Hasbrothers do?

I've got the two Machos and Smashes, just because there are minor differences (accessories), but I didn't bother with two Tatankas, HBKs or Razors.

Since there's no difference in some of those figures I can't imagine anyone but the most uptight and obsessive/compulsive among us feeling the need to get two to claim a full loose set.
Macho is also different in that one has "Macho King" written on the back of the trunks and the other reads "Macho Man". The only difference with Smash is that one has the helmet/mask and the other does not. If one were to get a Smash and pick up the mask that came with the tag team version, I'd be pretty confident in calling it complete without needing another figure.
jpower25, HBK and Razor actually have three figures if you count the white HBK and red and black Razor being released on the blue cards, in addition to the HBK in black and silver and the Razor in purple. So one would need to get two HBK and Razor to have a "complete" set (white outfit and black outfit for HBK, red outfit and purple outfit for Razor). You probably just meant that you didn't get two of the same color outfit because it was released on two different cards, but I just figured I'd mention that.

the only way I ended up with any variations was by buying big lots. I ended up with all 3 warriors,4 hogans and 3 Dibiases and Savages that way. that was a great lot though

I'm thinking the figures that were just repackaged as filler such as individual packaged Smach, Razor Red/Black and HBK White / Red are just dumb...I do think customs are now how I define a good loose hasbro collection.

The only difference with Smash is that one has the helmet/mask and the other does not. If one were to get a Smash and pick up the mask that came with the tag team version, I'd be pretty confident in calling it complete without needing another figure. i went a bit far and got 3 loose masks and have all 3 demolition in them, i know they didn't come with 3 masks but it looks amazing in my loose collection in regards to customs, i generally stay away apart form an awesome virgil i've got in silver/pink tux, it looks fantastic and is the only one i have ever really considered buying. variants are a great addition to any collection, i have one other rude variant and am sooo jealous of STOM's 3rd rick rude pink variant!!!

There is a pretty cool Jim Cornette on Ebay I am going to get.
There is also a lot of Japan customs, like Jushin Liger and Tiger Mask that are pretty cool.

I made an offer on the 123 Kid custom, but it wasn't accepted. Not sure if I'll take his counter.

The customs are really good. I was thinking of getting Cornette but someone beat me to it.
Oh well. I have enough toys, lol.
