Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out as far as the best/most accurate wrestling figure guides are concerned. I've found that Lee's Toy Review has several WCW, WWF Hasbro and LJN guides included with a few of their older review magazines, and I wanted to know what the quality of these are? Are they very detailed with any descriptions or just pictures of the figures with little to no descriptions? Also, does anyone know if there was ever a Jakks Pacific WWF BCA guide from the mid-90s to 1999/2000? That would likely be the one I'm after most (if it does exist), so could anyone tell me which issue a BCA guide came with? Thanks for any and all help that can be provided.

I'd go back and find an archive issue in which they go through all of them with pics. I use to have one but threw it away. check ebay or comic book stores.
Karma plz

they had a pretty good ljn moc guide.(2003).and a good loose ljn's guide from june 1999.....the march 2000 issue has a good guide to the wcw galoob figures....the september 2000 issue has a review of the awa figures(it shows loose and moc)...these reviews dont show all of the variations and such though...tomarts action figure digest did a review of wwf hasbro (moc)and jakks bca(moc) in about 1999 or so..

I used to buy Lee's Toy Review magazine every month, just for the price guides. They do have some price guides for some wrestling figure lines. The last new one I saw was when they added the CS line a couple of years ago. Have stopped buying Lee's though but you could probably ask them if they've an extensive BCA catalogue & price guide through their "ask the seller a question" link on their eBay store.

if youre into a price guide, they have action figure books at barnes and noble that have a fairly decent BCA price guide No, not so much a price guide, as I could easily find the current value for many of the BCA figures (which, I'd imagine, would be much lower than an old guide's listed values). I was mostly looking for a guide with pictures and/or small descriptions of everything BCA, but I seriously doubt one exists at the moment. I checked through Lee's Toy Review's web site under their 'Issues' section, and was unable to find one that featured a pull-out Jakks BCA guide (only LJN WWF, Hasbro WWF and Toybiz WCW). I'm working on writing up an extensive guide myself (seeing as how I haven't found one online yet), so I just wanted to have a guide of sorts to help me out. But, it's no big deal really, and thanks again to everyone who has replied to my post with any help whatsoever; I appreciate it.

wrestling superstore dot com has two books that have pictures of every wrestling figure made up until around 2003, including every Jakks, LJN, Hasbro, Toybiz, Remco, and all the Japanese and Mexican figures also. The books are pretty cheap too. I got both together for around 15 dollars. They don't have detailed descriptions, but everything is pictured. superstore.com/theprowrestlingactionfigureguidevolume1and2combodeal.aspx remove the space.

Why not bringing an old thread back, if the topic is a perfect match? Does anybody know which two books sultan is refering to? I recently got Lee's toyguide to WWF Hasbro. I remember there was also a very nice one from Tomart (most likely the one from 1999 already mentioned above) Does anybody know which Tomart issue I am looking for? Thanks in advance!
