Are these two the same thing?
I remember seeing the WWA, and it was Jeff Jarrett as the main guy and it had the Road Dogg and all them, so, is TNA WWA now, like the same company?

No, they're not the same thing. Andrew McManus started it but at the end of the run (sorta) Jarrett (NWA World Champion at the time) won the WWA title and unified it with the NWA World Title and Chris Sabin (X-Division Champion at the time) won the WWA Crusierweight Title and unified it with the X-DIvision TItle. I ordered there last event which saw Jarrett vs. Sting for the unification of the WWA and NWA title. I actually thought it wasn't a half bad PPV. It was good at that time to see some of the stars I hadn't seen in such a long time for example (Sting, Sabu, Crow Bar, Buff Bagwell, Disco Inferno). I actually kinda miss the WWA to be honest with you because I personally liked the old WCW feel.

i bought the last ppv solely for the bret hart appearance. No doubt man, I actually thought when they advertised this that they were going to have him wrestle. But I guess at the time it was good just to see him on camera again.
