...and wanted to buy a footie club (In the places they are now) who would you choose? I'd buy both Grimsby and Manchester United (If I was allowed), pay more attention to Grimbsby because it would be awesome to steer them to the prem, but Man U aswell 'cos I love them. Once Grimsby were a top prem team I'd pay equal attention to both, maybe just leaning towards Manchester United.

Liverpool and Tranmere.
Try and make Liverpool a title-challenging/eventualyl winning side and as for Tranmere... aim for the Premier league in 5 years

Obviously Sunderland, and maybe Southwick FC (my local team).

Only problem with that is, as soon as the clubs are in the same division, you'd have to sell one. I'm sure it is against some FIFA rule to own two clubs in the same league. I'd buy Liverpool and Retford United. Steer Retford to the Football League (they won the Unibond Div 1 South last season but didn't get promoted due to ground problems), and actually do something worth while to Liverpool.

That kinda happended when Harry Redknapp wanted to buy Bournemouth, I think I read that if he were to buy the club he would have to resign as Pompey manager.

I'd take over Reading as John Madjeski is tight and won't give Reading a decent amount for transfers.

I would go for a side like Everton, who have a good core of players to build on, and complement players into the squad.

Brighton. Finally sort out the ground we've been without for 11 years, make the Club Stable and get them back into the Top Tier of English Football.

Everton
get them a nice new stadium, with or without the help of a super market, and invest more money into players and coaching staff...

I'd buy Everton and shut them down. Not really. I'd buy Liverpool and get them the premiership.

Either Gateshead or Hartlepool. I'd try to bring them up to Premiership level so that we would have another North-East team in the top flight.
