- The Terror Dome was renamed the Steel Asylum because of trademark issues.
- Kevin Nash was offered a new deal by WWE but it was a full road schedule and he doesn't want that. He asked for a lighter schedule and they said no so he re-signed with TNA.
- Gail Kim has still yet to decide where she will be going.
- The TNA video game is being prejected to sell around 200,000 copies overall wich is said to not be very good. One industry insider told Dave that if this numbers holds true he doubts a second game frim Midway will ever see the light of day.
- TNA is blaming their bad attendance at the Manhattan Center a few weeks back on bad weather in the area.

Well when you make a sub-par first game you can't expect people to buy it or want a sequel... That's why the first Smackdown game was above par...

I've read something completely different in regards to the game. I read that Midway anticipated slow sales and they are already in progress on the Impact sequel. Which is due for release in approximately eight months. Trust me Midway did not spend the kind of money they did on development to only release one game.

Considering they spent SOOOO Much money on development and they are not even going to break even with it... it's not very smart business to go through with a sequal... I'm not saying I wouldn't buy a sequel it's just I wouldn't be surprised if one isn't made... atleast not by Midway...

I'm pretty sure the Midway guys mentioned losing money along with the slow sales in that same article. They knew going in that losing money initially was a distinct possibility. Especially with the foothold that Smackdown has on the wrestling game market. It really costs a ton of money to develop a completely new gameplay engine. Now with that being said. I'm sure that if the sequel doesn't make money Midway will cash in their chips and be done. I already bought the game and I enjoy it for what it is. I do think it should have been brought out at a lower price point though. Midway should try that now. Lower it to forty and see if they can move some more units.

Bad weather in the area? HAHAHAHAHA. hahaha I agree with that quote. The Impact game isn't SO bad I mean I like it. But I can't say that I'm already looking forward to what next years game has to offer. I just don't understand why they didn't put Six Sides of Steel etc.

They could just put everything into the first game, hold it off another 6-8 months, and release updated rosters through DLC... and lose money aswell..

Midway already loses money so Impact won't do much to change that. I think that Steel Asylum is just as bad a Terror Dome.

They have to spend a lot of money to create the system, models, animations, etc. Next game they just got to touch things up and refurbish.
