Why shouldn't you bury your opponents in promos?

Why shouldn't you bury your opponents in promos? Because no one wants to see a match when you tear your opponent to shreds on the mic. Just ask anyone in the wrestling business.

That's true...
I've been a fan of the Arn Anderson promo of "Yeah, you're fast, your agile, you're strong, but I'm all of that and more"
But, hey, whatever HHH is doing seems to be working for him

;S That's generally the idea.. Obviously not. As a wrestler your suppose to tell a story with your opponent, not tear them apart and try to make people believe they have no chance.

As a wrestler you're supposed to be confident in yourself and as a heel especially confident that you know you're going to win. Why not bury them? It'll get them bigger pops when they're plucky and kick the crapout of you.

It'll get them bigger pops when they're plucky and kick the **** out of you. You can be confident in yourself and still put over your opponent. KvE gave a great example. "Yeah, you're fast, your agile, you're strong, but I'm all of that and more" It's a two person job and many wrestlers seem to get selfish.

this is probably the weirdest post I've read all day. This is probably the most homophobic post I've read all day. You're the most homophobic post I've read all day.

I want the 49 seconds back that I wasted trying to enjoy the promo, didn't work. I got bored.

Granted... If your the chicken **** heel that thinks he's all that and a bag of chips, you shouldn't go around putting the other dude over.. Triple H isn't a chicken crapheel so he shouldn't be doing it. A chicken crapheel can still say "Your good but I'm the absolute best" or something along those lines where they give their opponent some credit.

You seriously have the attention span of a mentally intellectually- disabled, blind, deaf and dumb toddler.

You seriously have the attention span of a mentally intellectually- disabled, blind, deaf and dumb toddler. If you say so. Adam Pearce is still boring.

So that makes me a cool guy with an attention span of a mentally intellectually- disabled, blind, deaf and dumb toddler. Awesome.
Thank god I don't have to see this Adam Pearce from San Diego in ROH anymore.

I am not really surprised as it kinda felt like a full circle kinda story that was really built to bring attention to the NWA post TNA. Pearce is such a good heel and he will def help them out, which they sorely need as a lot of their top prospects are either seen as washed up or just not really main event stuff anymore and the thousands of talented guys they have out there are not getting the attention that they need.
