Viola!  you're in a "band" and you needed to ask this question?? Sorry, but this isn't rocket science. You get what you need to take what you have. Duh. I just can't let this go. There are four of you, none of you could think of anything??? Hey! I'm an actor, what should I use to have my head shot taken?? An etch a sketch? a stone carving? finger paints? Wow. good luck. lol That car would be an amazing way to travel. We would be the coolest ones there! And no. I wasn't asking "Should we take a car, truck, or a  ing spaceship?" I was asking which is best. Hey! I'm an actor! What camera should I use to take my headshot with? Which is best? Canon or Nikon? That's what I meant. |

Wait, you're not going to be playing with other bands? Maybe it's just me, but that seems way unusual. Even around here, the biggest draws still pack in at least a three band bill. Even if you're not touring in tandem with one or two specific bands, I'd still imagine you'd be sharing a bill (you+band x+band y in one town, you+band z+band01 in the next), and it would still possibly be to the benefit of all to contact those bands ahead of time and arrange a back line. It saves you cargo space, and saves all the bands breakdown and setup time in between sets. Yeah, you're right. I thought you meant it would be one set of bands going all around. Sorry about the confusion. It could work, I don't know if the band will be too hospitable, but just incase, I'd like a vehicle that can go the distance and carry the load. |

Thanks for the advice guys, and I want to clear something up:
Someone earlier said that the mini-tour we're gonna be with other bands, not neccasarily. I mean, taking gigs as one band in let's say Louisville, then Lexington, then Bowling Green and Owensboro (I live in KY) in one week/weekend, not like a full blown tour with an opening act and such like that.

Alright, so I'm working on a band project, and I was wanting to know what is the best type of transportation to and from shows and for mini tours? Keep in mind we're only gonna be a 4 person band, and all the equipment. I want to stay in a budget of $5K. Any help is much appreciated!

I think his care should have ended a long time ago, not a huge Cena fan, was when i was 15, but now i just don't like the guy. If he was to leave tomorrow i wouldn't care or lose any sleep over it, i would say good riddance and good luck where you end up. The same goes for Ortan, and Mysterio. If i was in charge of WWE. I would fire Cena, Ortan, and Mysterio. Keep Big Show and Mark Henry but as producers and spokesmen, not in-ring competitors. Would keep the limited appearance guys (Lesner, Undertaker,Jericho, Rvd, Rock) to compete, but just don't give them title shots (Except the Rock, Jericho, RVD and Undertaker, they can have as many title shots as they wants, just not Lesner, I can't stand that guy). I would cut the dead weight (Otunga, Ryder, Sandow) and replace them with NXT guys who deserve those main roster spots, and make NXT a bigger show that can compete with Raw or Smackdown. i know what people are going to say, Ortan and Cena are the main guys, people pay to see them. I know that, but there are 40 main roster guys, and a few NXT guys that I believe can be great wrestlers and top guys if they are just given a chance. I know that this post is going to have hundreds of guys call me an Idiot and that i should just leave this forum and never come back, but i'm just saying what I'm just thinking, and that my right to. and its your right to say what ever you want to say about me. Just want to have my thoughts and voice heard. so bring on the insults or if you agree with me then thats cool too. Sorry if this post sounds preachy. Just please check your spelling next time. Lol. That's my only problem with this. |
