Those figures look great, and it's good to hear figures are 2 per case. So how does the second jacket/arms work on Mean Gene? Does the torso and legs slip out the bottom of the coat? I haven't done the swap but it looks like you pop off the arms and head, slide the red coat on, pop in arms, pop the head back on. Disappointed that the red coat doesn't have the the old WWF logo on it.

For the glasses you could try and cut the arms off a bit to fit the hair better. That's a good idea, I thought about doing that since I only display my figs. He would look good with them on.

Has The Great Muta had a figure in a US line? Mattel could make an incredible Muta figure.

Check your Walmarts. Not sure if it's everywhere but I found the Bash At The Beach 3-pack for $20 in their clearance area. They had four of them. Great price if you haven't gotten it or need more Luger, Savage, and Sting bodies for customs.

Liz was before my time but the base body is going to be perfect for a Marlena/Terri Runnels custom. Im also interested in whats under the dress for customization purposes. Are her hips flesh colored this time around? What about her abdomen? She has all black under the dress. Her abdomen and hips are black.

What part of the country are you in? SoCal. Found her in San Clemente. They had one of each figure from this set.

This was the only figure of this set I wanted so I was happy to find her tonight. It's a great figure that represents an earlier Liz when she wore the long black gloves and various dresses. I've seems some confusion as to where this dress is from. It's NOT her debut dress. That one was blue. Looks like it's from this Piper's Pit from 1985, shortly after Savage revealed her as his manager: Enjoy! Compared to her first release: With the Macho Man:

I'd like to know as well. Early in her career Liz wore the long black gloves with various dress colors of that style. Black, blue, red, etc . . . I haven't found where she wore the green with silver shoes but I think this figure will look great next to the All-Stars Savage. I think this was her debut. It's kinda dissappointing. Yeah debut figures are cool, but here most legendary moment was wm7 in the jeans and star sweater. It would need to be a defining moments, but I could still settle for a regular elite. Imagine making that mold😂. I wonder if the shirt would be cloth or it would be her torso (you know, with joints.) I thought it was her debut as well, but that dress is actually blue. In another post jyb linked to a Piper's Pit in '85 that seems to be the dress. For a brief moment you can see her shoes and they look like they could be silver too. I bet this is what her outfit is based on.

Can someone tell me what match this Liz is from. I'm really disappointed is not a wm7 Liz to go with my wm7 macho man I'd like to know as well. Early in her career Liz wore the long black gloves with various dress colors of that style. Black, blue, red, etc . . . I haven't found where she wore the green with silver shoes but I think this figure will look great next to the All-Stars Savage.

I love everything about this. Kudos to Mattel and Cena for making this happen. I own one John Cena figure but after seeing this, I'll now own two.
If you look at the photo on TRU of the back of the figure, there's a great bulldog logo on the back of Cena's shorts that says "Alex Nation". Great stuff.

Everything about this was awesome! Thanks for putting so much time into it to entertain us. What a great way to showcase your figures.
That Hogan figure looks great. Especially the head scan. His legs look somewhat stocky in the pics. Is that how they really are or do the pics just make them seem that way?

Did it come with the head already swapped from the E6 one?

Oh wow. Thats not good. How do i prevent my moc figures from getting like that? If i dont seal them up in a plastic container then they should be ok? I have some on the wall & some in storage tubs, both get like that I don't know if this works, but I've heard that you can put them out in the sun for a bit and it helps to clear it up. Some Star Wars collectors do this for older MOC figures that have something similar happen to them. If you try it, maybe you can put some towels or a covering over most of the packaging and just leave the figure exposed to sunlight. That way you won't have to worry about fading your packaging.

Congrats! I really hope it gets released in the U.S. but if it doesn't I'm happy to see that collectors in another country are able to get their hands on this set.
Are you planning on opening them? I'd love to see more pics of Mean Gene.

I give you credit for reaching out and asking for real advice on a real concern you have.
As hard as it may seem, the best advice is really to be you. Everyone is passionate about something, and everyone has their own interests. If you're able to stand tall and be okay with what you like, it'll allow you to be 100% you 100% of the time. Which is a real gift as you get older. People will always know who they're dealing with, and you'll never have to worry about something perceived as an embarrassing secret to be found out. The great thing is that over time, you'll attract like minded people to you who will share your interests and support your passions.
I'm 44 years old and have never once hid my passion for collecting wrestling figures. It never stopped me from having great relationships, getting married, and having kids who enjoy collecting things as well.
You don't necessarily have to display your entire collection for all your college friends to see. But don't be ashamed to speak plainly about what you love doing or having a few figures on display if that makes you happy. Be yourself. And be okay with the idea that some people won't understand it. Because the people who do understand it might become some of your closest friends.
