Take this for what it's worth. but in the latest "Collectibles Column" on PW Torch, Michael Moore gives a run down on the "Top 5 Figures of MSG's Biggest Draws". In this article he list the #1 figure as Jakks Bruno and then makes this comment:
"Mattel has also announced plans for a new Bruno toy, complete with a classic WWWF Title belt."
Is it possible that Mattel may have scrapped the idea of the Hall of Fame plaque and podium and decided to go with a classic WWWF title?

There's been a lot of wrestling books over the years. Some great, some not so great.
I'm curious if you guys would buy an autobiography of Jim Ross? A non-wrestler who has been in the business since 1974 and with the WWE on and off since 1993.

When I found out RSC had gotten the Legends DDP figure in stock I jumped at the chance immediately. Being the only Legends figure from the Matty Collector line that I had missed, I was bummed to see the prices for the figure get so high. Kudos to RSC for offering the figure at a great price. For those MOC collectors who are wondering if it comes with the white Matty box, indeed it does. For those on the fence about getting a DDP, it's well worth the price. Great figure! Captures DDP at the height of his career in his feud with Savage and the nWo. Now I wish I had the nWo Savage to display with him. Maybe RSC can offer a deal when you order both? Mattel did a great job on the tattoos and likeness. So glad he came with the vest and making sure the inside of it was blue is a nice touch. BANG!       |

You know, I was okay with it until I compared them side-by-side. There's a noticeable difference in them for sure. The size of the chest, the diminished size of the tattoos, the trunks, even the head sculpt. I was happy with the elite version since I simply display him with the robes on, but now that you've brought it up and I see them both, the basic is a really great figure.  |

Man that looks great! How cool to be able to remotely play a titantron. I'd love to see a close-up of the Yoshi fix-up. Been thinking about doing the same thing myself, but the skin tones don't match.

I'm deeply sorry if this is a spoiler, I doubt it is. But on SmackDown Punk wore the RR13 trunks and black kickpads. Isn't that perfect for Mattel? We get the amazing trunks and maybe a t-shirt then if he keeps the black kickpads? Totally unrelated to what you posted but . . . your signature cracks me up every time I see it. Depends on what you like. It's worth the extra money to order through RSC to get it early and guarantee you get what you want. But, there's a thrill to the hunt and finding what you want in the stores. Oswego Target had all of elite 22 I got 1 Sandoow and 1 Rock. There is all except Sandow left (including Giant) as of 2:30. Also most of the packaging was damaged on most of the figures. Thanks for posting this. I was able to grab Tensai this morning. And yeah, the packages are jacked up. One Giant, two Kanes, and one Show left. Also, Kmart in Montgomery has a fresh case out. A guy was nice enough to go in back and grab the box that came in. No Giant in the box, and I grabbed the only Sandow and one of the two Rocks. As of 8:45 this morning there was one Rock, one Tensai, a couple of Kanes, and some Big Shows left. |
